let's meet at Bulb Gusto
On a cold rainy day, a group of us visited a cafe tucked away from the main busy streets of Dohuk. Welcome to Buon Gusto Coffee.
Quiet, Relaxing Setting
The cafe was packed with customers, but it was not noisy. The tables around the cafe had a lot of space around each other. The lighting and space provided a very relaxing atmosphere. We could've just stayed there, enjoying the present and let time past.
The decorations were very tasteful. We saw a fish bowl, world maps (which included New Zealand! ... watch this) and a model ship. They had funky incandescent lightbulbs and a bookshelf filled with lots of books. This is truly a cool place to hangout.
Hot Drinks
We all ordered different hot drinks (it was raining cats and dogs outside). I got a Hot White Chocolate, my two other friends got Indian Chai and Double Espresso. My drink had a thick layer of star stenciled cinnamon! We all enjoyed our drink.
Price: ~6000 IQD each (~$5 US)
On the price scale, I'll rate it as pricy (4/5). The price is a bit more than in New Zealand. I guess you pay for the atmosphere too!
Something Different
It was the first establishment we've seen an electronic menu! The waiter handed us a tablet which had a custom menu app. We could see the price and photo, something every traveller appreciate. Nothing is worse than ordering a random item in a restaurant in a foreign country. Sorry I forgot to take a photo of the tablet

Hi Can you please include the address of the place you have written about. The location you have is only "Duhok, Iraq" which is not sufficient. I just can't find anything about this place online. Can you please amend the location area or if you can't change it, please add the address to the bottom of your review

I didn't realize the map wasn't showing the exact cafe location. Luckily they had a Facebook page with the street address so I added that to the review and updated the Location field. Also, I didn't snap the app menu which is probably the coolest part of this review - sorry 😥

What a cool place to hang out! It fits the category perfectly. And the price is high yes, but it's about the same for gourmet coffee houses here in the US. The barista was very talented with making the designs in the tops of the drinks. And it sounds like they make it very welcoming to just hang out and enjoy your friends. The electronic menu is awesome, I've not seen that yet anywhere here. It would be very helpful to get the picture and the price!
