Il Treno in Bartok Bela street

Sometimes you want to eat a meal in a restaurant not packed by tourists in Budapest. One of the best options for such a meal, if you want to eat Italian, is the Il Treno restaurant located in the Bartok Bela street in Budapest (in the 11th district).

I ate in the Il Treno restaurant not long ago, and even though it might not be the best Italian in Budapest, it is still a nice place to eat a quiet dinner, with very good prices.

At the picture you can see a Dijon bun, filled with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled chicken breast, bacon, smokez mozzarella, cucumber, and mayonnaise.

It was a nice eat, and maybe a hit especially among ladies.

I am a big fan of pizza, and then especially a tasty one with some real Hungarian salami/sausage. The crust of the pizza was very good, and the tomato sauce wasn't too tomatoish.

All in all, Il Treno in Bartok Bela street is a great place for those who want to eat a quite cheap Italian meal in Budapest in a restaurant not frequently visited by tourists.

Would you rather visit more famous Italian restaurants in Budapest? You could consider Jamie Oliver's Pizzaeria in Budapest, even though the quality of the food there isn't much better than in Il Treno.

    A view of restaurant photos must include in the post, because this contest is about restaurant review, not just a review of food. We hope you improve yourself in next posts.

    1. We would like to see something real, you and your experience at the restaurant. Not from the facebook, instagram, pinterest, tripadvisor, local guides etc. We didn’t expect professional reviews from you but we expect to see a good review from you own experience, your original content, not a copy of someone else or plagiarism.
    2. A post must contain a minimum of 3 photos and 8 sentences illustrating the restaurant you’re reviewing.
    3. Please write your post in English, for Tasteem Global.
    4. Follow @tasteem and please read the contest rules. Many of you only add pictures of the food but not from the restaurant(especially from the front and the interior) remember, you have to write a review from the restaurant, not just food review.
    5. The restaurant doesn’t have to be always big or beautiful. You can also write a review from a (small) local restaurant. If the restaurant is too small and has no official address on google maps, you can use the nearest location and explain about this issue at your post. For example: The restaurant is at front or beside a hospital. You can add the location of the hospital and describe this on your post.
    6. Re-post old Tasteem review is not allowed. If you use some old informations or pictures of your own from Steemit or from another platform, you must cite the reference to your former content.
    7. If you buy some food from somewhere to eat at home, this is not considered as a restaurant review.
    8. We understand that sometimes you are not allowed to take a picture from another customers inside the restaurant or sometimes you forget to take a picture from the restaurant(at front) in this case, you are allowed to use pictures from source but you must cite the reference to the source.
    9. Please remember, your review must contain more of your original pictures than from the source. You can’t create your post/review only from the source pictures.
