New Moon Tarot Reading

Happy New Moon Steemit.

Today we'll take a look at how to work with this new moon's energy.

I am using The Deviant Moon Tarot Deck by Patrick Valenza.

The root card on the bottom of this reading is the 7 of Cups.
This card is about artistic expression, dream energy, and us getting in touch with what is happening 'beneath the surface' in our lives.

The first card in the main part of the reading is the King of Cups reversed.
The King of Cups is the best at making emotional exchanges. He doesn't put energy into anything that doesn't give him at least that much back.
Here, he is reversed, showing that we are being drained or vampired on by something.

The second card of this reading is the 10 of Pentacles.
This basically shows that the thing that drains us is in our home, and probably something physical.
In relation to the 7 of Cups, the 10 of Pentacles would say to structure your physical space(apartment or home or whatever) to be more conducive to artistic expression.

The final card is the 2 of Swords. This is tricky, because this show that there might be more than one will involved,(sharing space) or at least our tendency to fight our own progress.

Whatever steps are involved, it looks like what in brewing beneath the surface wants to come out.

This has been really easy for me, since my roommate has been gone all week:)
There are normally 2 cats in my apartment also, but she took them too. I was actually shocked when I realized how different the space felt when the cats were gone.
I love the cats, but it is difficult to feel the subtle energy in the space when they are around.
Their energy dominates the space for sure.
