Juneteenth was the day
Hurray! We celebrated a fact
The end of slavery
Not here but in the USA
at least that's what they say

They... Those people who force me
It's their will against mine
The end of slavery is a joke
I'm not accepted as a part of 'the human kind'
Their sewing machine, my darning basket...

How I miss home
Was it really that bad?
A simple life, no luxury but mom and dad
They cared, at least in their way
Till they sold me after that one nightstand

Playboy, toy, old men, no love
Creed, bad deed, so in need
No sunshine
Bad weather coming my way
Rain, hail, thunder, storm will it end?

What if I make a wish
A fallen star
Life isn't easy that's why...
No dream came true
Goodbye

Their sewing machine
No need
Storm, hectic, panic, no creed
One single deed
A world of difference
