DAY 20 ' BAREFOOT WALKING EXPLORATION & AWARENESS: 21 DAY CHALLENGE

Got between 1 and 2 hours of "Barefoot Cruising" in today. It's a whole new world of walking, I had no idea that getting into "Barefoot Cruising" would become this real thing that's just so consistently satisfying. It's really great stuff. This challenge has been a real pleasure - every step of the way.

Here's a small snippet of what most of the terrain was like yesterday - "Suburban Barefoot Cruising"

Reflection:

I had resistance to even making the video - which sounds kind of silly really, I mean I'm almost finished reporting on this series...and it's like I had this moment of just, "ah why bother"...and it was in this moment I realized I was making a bother of this great experiment I've been doing....and I just kind of slugged out making a record of my progress...and the video play back for me is like exactly that...where I kind of slugged through a documentation of myself - my keeping my consistency and follow-through in tact, despite the momentary adversity in challenging my living "Consistency" as the very 'follow through swing'

  • Consistency is the follow-through swing of Life. Love it. It's our participation.

I haven't seen any of the previous ones, but...Aren't you afraid of broken glass and stuff? Have you built up any callouses to help make the walking easier?

feet have gotten pretty strong pretty quickly...I've become more observant for any glass on the ground for sure - definitely have spotted a number of pieces along the way that I wouldn't have been aware of with shoes on.

I use my dog as an example - dog walks every day without cutting the paw....cutting the paw would be a very rare occurrence...a small knick has happened a few times throughout the years.

Well, I suppose there have been many groups throughout history that have gone barefoot, so maybe there's something to it. Do you have an specific things about it that you can point to as solid benefits?... I mean beside the psychological....

True about animals...a thorn once in awhile, but they seem to have radar for foot hazards...

Yes brother! You did not abandon it, your constancy in everything is wonderful! How are your feet after 20 days of barefoot walking?

I've been a little disconnected from the platform and my work due to serious health problems but I'm a little better and I'm back.
