LIGHT PILLARS: An amazing natural phenomenon (ENG - SPA)
At the beginning of 2017 we could see amazing pictures of 'Light Pillars' shinning in the sky of North Bay, Ontario (Canada). An amazing spectacle that nature gave us, becoming viral in all social networks.

El youtuber Timmy Joe Elzinga tuvo el privilegio de presenciar el momento que en un primer momento describió como "columnas láser del espacio". Aquí podéis ver su vídeo explicándolo.
It seems science fiction, but it's got a scientist explanation. During very cold weather, the reflection of sunlight, moonlight or any artificial light on ice crystals creates vertical pillars of light. Depending on the distance from which they are viewed, the color and size of these columns vary, producing the stunning optical effect that we can see in the pictures.
Parecen sacados de la ciencia ficción, pero tiene una explicación científica. Con temperaturas muy bajas, el reflejo de la luz solar, de la luna o de cualquier luz artificial sobre los cristales de hielo crean estos pilares de luz. Dependiendo de la distancia desde la que se observan, el color y el tamaño de estas columnas puede variar, produciendo el impresionante efecto óptico que podemos ver en las imágenes.
