My name is Vincent Ekechukwu, most of my friends call me Vince.
I am happy and consider myself lucky to have gotten to know about steemit and joined at this early stage of its popularity.

I joined! Yes, I did. why did I join? – I believe I joined because I saw an opportunity, an opportunity to write while I earn, an opportunity to practice and perfect my use of written words for the betterment of man. I practice because I believe words are powerful; written words, spoken words. They can repair, they can destroy. They are capable of changing minds, feeding minds, protecting minds, comforting minds, agitating minds, protecting minds and that’s the reason for the saying “the pen is mightier than the sword”. I plan to write to please myself, to put a smile on everyone`s face, to give hope and to, as much as I can, create an even better world where everyone would be pleased to be in.

Am I single or married? - I am definitely not married, in other words, I am single.

where am I from?- I am Nigerian , from Imo state and proudly Igbo. I am a Christian (those that imitate the ways of Jesus Christ).

What languages do I speak? - I speak so many languages; English, Igbo, Pigdin English … (thinking), It seems like my language-speaking knowledge is just limited to those three(smiles). Even though I know a little about speaking Indian because I do watch a lot of indian movies and I plan to study my course there as they as well equipped medically.

I do practice Ahimsa! - I am not a hindu or Buddhist as I already said I am a christian but to an extent I practice Ahimsa( non-violence to living things, believing in the sacredness of life). I said “to an extent” because I consider other Animals including insects to be able to feel pain just like we humans do. I do feel pain and from all I have passed through in my life, all the injuries I had when I was still a liitle boy, Its very easy to say it`s not something I would wish for those I love and I love all living things. However, when I am attacked by an animal that wants to kill me, I would definitely take its head off if I get the chance. If someone else kills an animal and gets for me to eat, I would enjoy myself even though I cannot kill one without a proper reason.

AM I SELF-EMPLOYED?- Yes, to an extent I work and earn on my own, not working for anybody. I am a student though. I study in Nigeria at Nnamdi Azikiwe University located in Anambra state. i am a "gonna-be" medical laboratory scientist as I am yet to graduate, i only pray it goes as smoothly as planned.

MY FAVORITE THINGS IN LIFE (things i derive joy from)- An introduction is never complete without adding what I like most. I want to be your friend on steemit.com as I don’t have much friends due to how busy I am either studying or trying to earn.
Firstly, I am a big fan of “NARUTO”, a cartoon created in 1996 and still has not ended. A cartoon that truly inspires and teaches one to never give up in life, not minding what others think. A story that shows that even though your parents are geniuses, you can end up being a failure and can only be a genius if you work really hard. A cartoon that tells us never to forget your friends, that no man is an island and you cannot fulfill your dreams if you work alone , you must always need the help of others to guide you and lift you if you stumble or fall.

I love Music and wish to be a musician at some point no matter how bad my music might be. It gives me unfathomable joy.

I love challenges and I get a lot of it from sports. I play football, I play table tennis. I am yet to learn basketball.
