I'm Home! My Introduction to Steemit, the Inspired Platform that Offers Limitless Opportunities

Steemit represents the best of a number of different platforms distilled into one.

I've tried blogging on Medium but the built-in audience isn't there and it's a bit complicated to monetize. I've tried doing research on SeekingAlpha, which pays nicely, but requires quite a lot of research and longer-end reports to keep the readership content.

My passion isn't stocks, I find myself more compelled to reading about and research cryptocurrencies and fintech subject matter. I also like the pithy articles that Steemit has in abundance, allowing me to get to the heart of an article without a lot of rambling.

I like that there are fun contests involving sports that happen on the daily basis here, fueled by those with STEEM power to up-vote and contribute to a particular pool. I hope to do a contest or two in the future and reward the community that has provided so much enjoyment for me over the last few weeks. I also like what people are doing with dTube, offering engaging videos about the topics that I find interesting. I hope to produce a video or two and find a niche that an audience here on Steemit is hungry for.

I'm going to invest in STEEM power in the near future. I wish to be a stakeholder in this experiment and believe that this site has a bright future. I recently watched a video where the host was touting STEEM to hit $10 shortly. Given the bullish behavior of nearly all of the altcoins, I don't see that as too crazy of a possibility.

I see my routine as checking out the trending articles of the day, reading them, checking out some of my favorite tags such as sports and contests, reading those articles, and commenting when I see fit. I'll also try to write a good number of articles to contribute to the community here and offer my two cents on a number of different topics. In the process I hope to amass a few followers and friends along the way.
