Life art: identity
Born as the youngest of the 7, I grew up with a lot of people complaining about the upbringing of my family towards us. It's a childhood where violence is somewhat a normal phenomenon, where we could experience battering almost everyday.
As a tiny little kid, I managed to gain resilience and courage, but in the tiniest bit there's something within me that I noticed, I somehow feel like I am a girl trap in a boy's body.
In secret, whenever I'm alone, i try to wear my mom's bra and also applying her make up, in addition to that, I shaved my eyebrows. When my mom saw my brows:
she was like, "are you gay?"
I replied, "uhmm, no! Hell no!"
It was too freaking hilarious.
And so as i grew up, and became a teenager, I came to noticed that almost all of my bestfriends where girls, not to mention my gay besties. Anyways, i tried to question whether me being girly was caused by being a battered child, or maybe this is some kind of a defense mechanism where i see that girls are not being battered compared to boys, so a female personality out of envy became existent in me. Or maybe I'm just born like this. No one knows, perhaps, maybe God knows.
Now I am a professional nurse, haven't been into a sexual relationship before even romantic ones. I'm still feeling the thing, let's just call it, being gay. I am attracted to guys, and cut this, i think this the part where I have to introduce myself. I'm Leo, a 21-year old guy, who lives in Mindanao. Yeah, single since birth and I'm not a crossdresser(in contrary to what I said about wearing my mom's bra) anyways, this the start of my blogging journey. Hope you find me and my work interesting, there's still more to come. So watch out!

Hello and welcome to steemit.
I joined in July but only started posting last month.
One thing I have found is that it is difficult to get followers and therefore have your posts seen and upvoted. If I may reccommend something to you it's steemfollower. basically it's just a much smaller subcommunity where you can find followers and we all upvote within that community.
It doesn't cost anything and participating on steemfollower has no impact on your profile here except in the normal manner of upvoting.
Feel free to check it out via my referral.
