Hey Steemit! Introduction Post!

I heard about this platform and it seems fairly cool so I figured I'd try it out.

For the first little while, I'll stick to chiming in on discussions to get a feel for the various subcommunities.

At some point, I might start writing the occasional blog post - my topic of choice would be to narrate my experiences with trying out various lifehacks.

And so there's a face to the name:

(I'm not actually a pilot - just one of the things I went to try out)

Hi Rejjir, and Welcome to Steemit.

Yes, it's best to take a bit of time and get an overview of the Steemit platform. But soon enough, you should start posting, just for the experience and to start learning more about the ins and outs, about what works and what does not work, on this platform.

Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.

Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
