2016 was the first year for me, using such a stand up paddle and I fell totally in love with it and I think a electric paddle board might be an interesting addition to the normal use of it. This electric watercraft, gives you some extra power whenever you need it, you need a break or just want to cruise and chill. With about 8 km/h you can cruise and roam the sea, lake or river...

The electric motor is built on the bottom of the board, while being on the water you can't feel the extra weight, even when it is not being used. The pocket is covered, no risk that the propeller hits anything. Easy and fast to recharge, since it is detachable.

Information:

  • Max Speed is 8 km/h
  • Full Battery Charge lasts for 1.5 hours
  • high quality EPS foam and epoxy resin were used for the board
  • Falling off the board will stop the engine automatically for safety reasons

Starting price is set at 1,288.00 $. This is a relatively good price, since it is electric too. If you love the waters, this is one cool gadget to get for the summer.

    I would love to chill out on one of these.

    Pros:

    • great way the relax the body and mind by cruising on the sea lying down or standing up
    • you can cover a lot more distance and see more sights because of the electric engine
    • the propeller is designed so it doesn't hit anything
    • fast recharging

    Cons:

    • kind of expensive

    Nice Hunt!
    Tried stand up paddling once about a year ago and had a quite good time. It is a nice way to explore ares you do not get to on foot or need to fight through thick vegetation to get to.

    Pros:

    • good to know to have a way to get back in case you need some rest
    • quite surprising 1.5 hour charge
    • cool design and love the fact they hidden the motor that good

    Cons:

    • even though the price is fair it is quite expensive for a occasionally used "toy"
