Daily Painting - Day 19

Back to 2008, this is one of my favorite paintings.
I remember when I was painting this, it was the first time I stopped thinking about the result, and just focused on the moment. I found out that experiencing the creative process was kind of meditation state of mind.
Something we easily do when we are kids, and somehow we lose on the process of becoming adults.
I was not always able to get there, and sometimes, when my mind is too agitated it's still difficult.
But practice practice and practice...! This is the key...! :)

De 2008, ésta es una de mis pinturas preferidas.
Recuerdo que cuando estaba pintando esto, fue la primera vez que dejé de pensar en el resultado, y sólo me centré en el momento. Descubrí que experimentar el proceso creativo era una especie de estado mental de meditación.
Algo que hacemos fácilmente cuando somos niños, y de alguna manera perdemos en el proceso de convertirnos en adultos.
No siempre pude llegar allí, y a veces, cuando mi mente está demasiado agitada sigue siendo difícil.

Pero práctica, práctica y práctica ...! Esa es la clave ...! :)
