Greece Monuments #1
It was a great trip to Athens, Greece as I travelled for 5 days on a vacation with my childhood friend. When we first arrived in Athens, we went to Arrianou the location of our apartment. We checked in and directly started our journey by visiting the monuments.
Our first step was in the Civil war museum, one of the greatest museums in Athens, that you can ever visit to understand all the civil war that happened. The war museum was established in 1964 in order to honour all the people that fought for the country's freedom.
The museum's mission consists of collecting and preserving all military artefacts, and to study the history of the nation and it's war from antiquity to the present day. Thus, to preserve all these historic memories and letting all local and those who are coming for travelling to understand and know the history of the country.
The museum consists of four floors that contain all part of the Greek history. Visitors, like we did, are required to start with the first floor that host the antiquities, and continue with the others.
