Greetings fellow Steemians ...a little introduction about myself
I'm a newbie from central Ohio (Mt. Gilead) and I just posted my first post in the poetry section titled "Bad wreck in Paris tonight"
I wrote this in August of 1997, actually on the night of her death. It's now been 20 years and I thought it would be high time to publish this poem and hopefully get some responses from other writers and fans of poetry.
I'm a 68 year old male and I am retired from the automotive business. From time to time I have felt led to do some miscellaneous writing of poems, a few songs and I'm currently writing a children's book.
I'm really glad to have discovered steemit and am looking forward to posting and sharing more of my writings!
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I'm looking forward to building my Feed and making some friends from around the world and learning some new things.
