En una publicación anterior, compartí una fotografía del campanario de la Iglesia San Francisco de Asís, ubicada en la zona colonial de Barquisimeto. En esta ocasión, presento una imagen de la fachada principal de este templo católico, que de acuerdo con la bibliografía consultada, sería construido alrededor del año 1832, sobre las ruinas de la capilla de un convento de de la orden Franciscana, que cumplía funciones como la primera catedral de la ciudad, atributo que le sería conferida a la entonces restaurada iglesia, hasta el año 1969 cuando se inaugura la actual Catedral Metropolitana de Barquisimeto.

La captura fotográfica la realicé como es usual en mí, a colores, y posteriormente modificada con las herramientas que proporciona el editor PicsArt, para lo cual usé inicialmente un filtro del tipo HDR (High Dynamic Range) para lograr una mayor amplitud de tonos en la fotografía original, y posteriormente, un filtro sencillo de Blanco & Negro, hasta alcanzar el resultado que gustosamente comparto con todos Ustedes.

In a previous publication, I shared a photograph of the bell tower of the San Francisco de Asís Church, located in the colonial zone of Barquisimeto. On this occasion, I present an image of the main facade of this Catholic temple, which according to the consulted bibliography, would be built around the year 1832, on the ruins of the chapel of a convent of the Franciscan order, which fulfilled functions as the first cathedral of the city, attribute that would be conferred to the then restored church, until the year 1969 when the present Metropolitan Cathedral of Barquisimeto is inaugurated.

I took the photographic capture as usual, in colors, and later modified with the tools provided by the PicsArt editor, for which I initially used a HDR (High Dynamic Range) filter to achieve a greater amplitude of tones in the original photograph, and later, a simple filter of Black & White, until reaching the result that I happily share with all of you.
