Viajando conmigo - Traveling with me #26: Oceanografic

Este último fin de semana estuve en Valencia, una ciudad preciosa al este de España, con playas, cultura y una gastronomía fantástica. Es el mejor lugar del mundo para comer paella 🥘

This last weekend I was in Valencia, a beautiful city in the east of Spain, with beaches, culture and a fantastic gastronomy. It is the best place in the world to eat paella 🥘

Una de las visitas obligadas que tenía que hacer era el Oceanografic, un lugar donde podemos ver a la mayoría de especies marinas que se pueden tener en cautividad, un lugar maravilloso que gusta a todo el mundo, sobre todo a los más pequeños de la casa.

One of the must-see visits that I had to do was the Oceanografic, a place where we can see the majority of marine species that can be held in captivity, a wonderful place that everyone likes, especially the smallest of the house, my son.

Situado al lado de la ciudad de las artes y las ciencias, es un complejo muy grande dividido en zonas en las que se puede visitar cada uno de los océanos, ver el espectáculo de delfines, observar a nuestros amigos los pingüinos o ver nadar a las grandes belugas y morsas.

Located next to the city of arts and sciences, it is a very large complex divided into areas where you can visit each of the oceans, see the dolphin show, observe our friends the penguins or watch the swim large belugas and walruses.

Mar Mediterráneo - Mediterranean Sea

Nuestra visita empezó por el Mar Mediterráneo, viendo los animales más característicos del mar que baña el este de España. Entre los animales que vimos, me llamó mucho la atención, los galanes, un pez que sólo he visto en las costas almerienses, más concretamente en mi pueblo, Carboneras.

Our visit began with the Mediterranean Sea, seeing the most characteristic animals of the sea that bathes eastern Spain. Among the animals we saw, I was very struck by the gallants, a fish that I have only seen on the coasts of Almeria, more specifically in my town, Carboneras.

También pudimos ver pulpos y sepias, unos animales con los que yo he tenido mucho contacto cuando hacía pesca submarina hace muchos años, cuando vivía en Carboneras. Y como no, a nuestra amiga la langosta, ese animal tan querido en los restaurantes de más calidad.

We could also see octopus and cuttlefish, some animals that I had a lot of contact with when I was spearfishing many years ago, when I lived in Carboneras. And of course, our friend the lobster, that animal so loved in the highest quality restaurants.

Océano Atlántico - Atlantic Ocean

La visita al Océano Atlantico, fue la que más gustó a mi hijo. Aquí pudimos ver rayas, tiburones y otros peces característicos de este gran océano. Un espectáculo para nuestros ojos.

The visit to the Atlantic Ocean was the one that my son liked the most. Here we could see devilfishes, sharks and other fish characteristic of this great ocean. A show for our eyes.

Ártico - Arctic

Después fuimos a ver el Ártico y sus animales. Aquí el frío es la característica principal, todos los animales viven rodeados de hielo y aguas heladas. Las morsas, belugas y los pingüinos viven aquí, siendo estos últimos unos de los animales favoritos de mi hijo, le encantan.

Then we went to see the Arctic and its animals. Here the cold is the main characteristic, all animals live surrounded by ice and cold water. Here live the walruses, belugas and penguins, the latter being one of my son's favorite animals, they love it.

Delfines - Dolphins

Los delfines son animales que no pueden faltar aquí, no podíamos irnos sin visitarlos. Como siempre, los delfines son muy juguetones, son animales que siempre están en movimiento y a los que les encanta jugar. Son espectaculares, me encantan.

Dolphins are animals that can not be absent here, we could not leave without visiting them. As always, the dolphins are very playful, they are animals that are always moving and who love to play. They are spectacular, I love them.

Medusas - Jellyfish

Algo que nos gustó mucho, fue la cantidad de medusas distintas que hay. Existe una medusa de cualquier tamaño y color que nos imaginemos. Son animales preciosos y muy peligrosos a la vez.

Something that we liked a lot, was the amount of different jellyfish there is. There is a jellyfish of any size and color that we imagine. They are beautiful animals and very dangerous at the same time.

Otros animales - Other animals

Mientras andamos de un lugar a otro, también pudimos ver animales, como por ejemplo unas tortugas gigantescas o los imponentes leones marinos, un animal muy poderoso y que hace un ruido, que a mí personalmente, me parece espectacular.

While we walked from one place to another, we could also see animals, such as giant turtles or the imposing sea lions, a very powerful animal that makes a noise, which to me personally, I find spectacular.

Espero que te haya gustado mi visita al Oceanografic de Valencia, un lugar que debes visitar si vas a la capital del Turia, y más si la visitas con niños.
