El problema - The problem
Como todos sabemos, existe un servicio de Amazon para migrar bases de datos a su nube AWS, el servicio de datos en la nube que Amazon alquila a empresas. Pero Amazon hace unos meses fue un paso más allá, ¿qué pasaría si un banco o una empresa con un volumen de información gigantesco, más de los que se imagina, quisiera migrar todos sus datos a AWS? ¿Y si quisiera migrar todos sus datos de Londres a Hong Kong?
As we all know, there is an Amazon service to migrate databases to your cloud AWS, the cloud data service that Amazon rents to companies. But Amazon a few months ago was a step further, what if a bank or a company with a gigantic amount of information, more than you imagine, would migrate all your data to AWS? What if I wanted to migrate all your data from London to Hong Kong?

Dado que se tardarían años en mover esta cantidad de datos, Amazon inventó Snowmobile.

Es la solución que ha inventado Amazon a este problema que plantea que podría encontrarse una empresa como Walmart o JP Morgan que manejan billones y billones de gigantes de información.

Básicamente es un camión gigantesco que es capaz de almacenar 100 petabytes de información y de esta manera transportarla de manera física donde se necesite. Y no sólo es capaz de transportarla, es capaz de mantener el servicio activo continuamente sin interrupción debido a que este camión está conectado a la red en todo momento.
Basically it is a gigantic truck that is capable of storing 100 petabytes of information and thus transporting it physically where it is needed. Mi solución - My solution
Yo planteo una solución mejor pero difícil de implementar a día de hoy, a lo que deben de tender las empresas en un futuro es a implementar Blockchain privadas con las que almacenarán su información de forma muy segura y siempre disponible en cualquier lugar del mundo.
I pose a better solution but difficult to implement today, what companies should tend in the future is to implement Private Blockchain with which they will store their information in a very secure and always available way in any place of the world.
Voy a poner un ejemplo actual de un caso que se quiere poner en funcionamiento y que yo creo que lo van a conseguir, es Patientory, quieren construir su blockchain para tratar de tener todos los datos médicos de millones de pacientes y que se pueda acceder a ellos en cualquier parte del mundo que tenga una conexión a Internet. Lo quieren llevar a cabo en USA y luego traspasarlo a otros países. Es una de las mejores ideas que he visto en torno a Blockchain.
I am going to put a current example of a case that Someone want to put into operation and that I think they will get it, is Patientory, they want to build their blockchain to try to have all the medical data of millions of patients and that it can be accessed them anywhere in the world that has an Internet connection. They want to do it in the USA and then transfer it to other countries. It's one of the best ideas I've seen around Blockchain.

La idea de patentiory es genial, había escuchado algo similar una vez en el hospital pero nunca aplicando la blockchain, me gusta ese proyecto
A mí también me gusta, es uno de los proyectos más interesantes que he visto en Blockchain y uno de los que se centra en un problema real que hay que solucionar. Si consiguen cumplir los hitos que se han marcado va a ser genial ver como ayudan a millones de personas. Claramente es un nicho que necesita esa mejora.
Asi es, confío en que desarrollen correctamente la plataforma, ya que la salud de las personas es un área en la que se debe trabajar exhaustivamente

Totalmente de acuerdo, muchas blockhains privadas serán como la intranet de una empresa es a lo que conocemos como Internet. Y cómo no, las blockchain públicas serán el equivalente a Internet...

It's incredible, Amazon are really innovative.
Amazon will be the first company to apply blockchain technology in near future. They are always investigating technological developments and at some point they will realize the goodness of Blockchain. I also believe they will accept payments in bitcoin. Surely you are already experimenting with this wonderful technology.
