Acordes con barra es una técnica de guitarra en la que se coloca un dedo, generalmente el índice, en uno de los trastes de la guitarra en todas o casi todas las cuerdas. La técnica básica más habitual es adoptar con los dedos medio, anular y meñique las posiciones de MI mayor, MI menor, LA mayor o LA menor (o sus variantes de séptima, cuarta o sexta) y con el dedo índice crear la barra en el traste que se desea, a fin de convertir dichos acordes (MI o LA) en otros. Así, por ejemplo, un acorde de MI mayor desplazado un traste gracias a la barra, se transforma en un acorde de FA mayor. Desplazar otras figuras como el acorde de DO mayor, SOL mayor, RE mayor o RE menor con cuerdas al aire son menos utilizadas por requerir mayor destreza y flexibilidad en las manos, si bien también se emplean en ocasiones.

Acá explicaré la base para crear estos acordes con barra en sus variaciones de mayor, menor y séptimas.

Bar chords is a guitar technique in which a finger, usually the index finger, is placed on one of the frets of the guitar on all or almost all the strings. The most common basic technique is to adopt the positions of MI major, MI minor, LA major or LA minor (or its seventh, fourth or sixth variants) with the middle, ring and little finger and with the index finger create the bar in the fret that is desired, in order to convert said chords (MI or LA) into others. Thus, for example, a major MI chord shifted a fret thanks to the bar, becomes a major FA chord. Moving other figures as the chord of DO major, SOL major, RE major or RE minor with strings to the air are less used because they require greater dexterity and flexibility in the hands, although they are also used occasionally.
