Update: Commenting Upvotes, Contest Entry Titles, Community Services And Top 50 XP Rankings
Commenting
I noticed that the voting power would not regenerate even though I was not upvoting that much in voting power terms. Reducing the frequency of upvoting seems to have resolved this issue. To achieve this, you will no longer receive an upvote on every comment, but only 1 bigger one after 5 comments.
Not only has the voting power generated back to mid 90%, I have also been giving out higher upvotes again. I will keep monitoring this to try and find the optimal solution.
One scenario is that I might go to a batch cycle. Where all users that have engaged in the community by commenting or posting photos in the last 2.4 hours receive a share of 100% upvote, based on their XP, every 2.4 hours.
Also I have figured out how to filter for comments in posts where my hashtag is not used as the first hashtag. I have yet to implement this, however the design is finished (in my head :P).
Title for contest entries
I am a very lazy person. For me this means that I want to get as much done as possible for as little effort as possible. Going over the entries for the contests is something I enjoy as I get to see many inspiring photos every day. However, constructing the daily selection post was a pain in the ass. Copying the image link(2 times), look for a title and copy the author name to a template which differs in size depending on how many I select. That type of work gets boring very easily.
So I have build a script. Now I just have to copy all the urls and the script gathers the author, title and the photo. Construct the post for me and even pays out all the winners. Great ;p There is just one catch. It directly copies the title you have used to post your photo. So keep that in mind, when you win, the same title will be displayed on the selection.
Community services
Since there are no communities yet, which is something I want to hop on with all you. And several people approaching me with neat ideas that they have. I decided on the following. Every day my reminder post gets more 100 views, while the selections are getting to about 200. I would like to dedicate a portion on these posts to community members which would like to contribute services that will add value.
Think about reviewing photos or editing photos from other Steemians. If this is something you would be up for contact met on steemit.chat my username there is @julian_k For example: introduce a hashtag that Steemians can used if they are willing to get an in depth review on their photo from you.
@juliank, I just had a thought about this which may make things a little easier as well as build the community. Why not have a discord channel and have a slot for each day with its various categories. Then we could also see and upvote and support each other more. I do not know exactly how much work it entails to run a channel on discord but I for one and I am sure some other would be glad to assist! BTW thanks for all your hard work!

Intial set up is general, daily_contest and commnity_services
we would need to create a general chat area for questions and answers, and then 1 tag for each day of the week, or else one tag for each different topic of photos, so people can share their relevant photo under the relevant tag. That way we could all see each other work more easily. Other channels have blog, photography, nature, humor etc, and we could have Monday, Tuesday etc. or alternatively foodphotography, animalphotography........ we would have to think about it an see which would work better, also considering future expansion.
Incase you have missed my edit for the previous comment I decided to go ahead with it and made a channel. To start of there are only 3 subchannels for now. I think it is better to keep it simple and when its grows expand. Thanks for the great idea, I appreciate it :)

I am an amateur photo taking person (I cannot really call myself a photographer) and I would be very interested to know what I do right or/and wrong! So, please make it happen!

Only one question. How do you manage to do all this?
How do you mean? I am basically just trying out a lot of things that I like and after a while a task can become repetitive so I try to improve it and even automate it. Each contest now takes me about half an hour and that is mostly due to the amount of people participating.
Besides that I love to enjoy life, do sports and explore. This makes for great inspiration for photos that I love to make ;p
How do you have enough for the whole time?
