Hello!

Whether during interviews, while meeting new people, or on other social media platforms, I often struggle to answer, ‘Who I am’. Because, really, who are we? I’m not sure whether we’re the things we do, the way we conduct ourselves, or a part of some greater, perhaps spiritual cause. And I’m not sure who I am yet, either. While there may never be any correct answers to the trillions of questions we human beings have, here goes my attempt at introducing myself.
I currently live near the picturesque ‘city of churches’ or Adelaide, South Australia. I’m seventeen and have just completed my senior year of high school. Between my hobbies and spending time with my family and friends, I work casually at Krispy Kreme alongside an awesome team of people.

My hobbies include (specifically monochrome and architectural) photography, travel, reading poetry and novels, watching documentaries, and listening to music; Nirvana, Bob Marley, David Bowie, and the occasional Drake consume my playlists, but I’m always down to discover new artists. Though I’ve only been taking photographs for about twenty months now, it’s become something I truly enjoy and aim to continue improving at.

I’m due to commence a University degree next year. I originally chose Journalism and International Relations; however, I’m not sure it’s for me as I can’t really answer why I chose that degree. Instead, I’m going to try taking half a year off school to see may want to do in the future. Until then, I’m going to try and learn a small lesson each day. Recently, those lessons have focused on various altcoins and how cryptocurrencies work, which brings me back to Steemit.

I’ll be posting photography alongside some small creative writing pieces twice a week, a playlist every now and again, a weekly chapter or book review/ response, and something educational each week. That’s the plan for now, I’m keen to start posting on this unique ecosystem and to meet amazing individuals! Thank you if you’ve read my slipshod story thus far, it certainly means a lot.
