Conductas llenas de odio, egoísmo, violencia e indiferencia ante el prójimo, son nuestro día a día, la razón de esto, quizás sea responsabilidad de nosotros mismos, ya que poco a poco el ser humano se ha deshumanizado, convirtiéndose en una maquina presa del estrés diario influenciado por la tecnología dejando de lado el convivir cara a cara con sus semejantes.

Behavior full of hate, selfishness, violence and indifference to others, are our day to day, the reason for this, perhaps it is our own responsibility, since little by little the human being has become dehumanized, becoming a machine prey to the daily stress influenced by technology leaving aside the coexistence face to face with their peers.

La crisis que afrontamos en nuestra sociedad va mas allá que un desequilibrio moral y de valores, esta reflejado en como vivimos nuestro día a día, en como se implementan las políticas en nuestros respectivos países, en como se educa a la próxima generación. Aunque parezca sin importancia es un tema que necesita ser analizado, sin valores morales vivimos en caos.

The crisis we face in our society goes beyond an imbalance of morals and values, it is reflected in how we live our daily lives, in how policies are implemented in our respective countries, in how the next generation is educated. Although it may seem unimportant, it is a topic that needs to be analyzed, without moral values we live in chaos.

Las personas con valores morales tienen muy claro lo que esta bien y lo que esta mal. Sus valores morales no cambian en función de sus circunstancias, sino que se basan en un solido conjunto de principios que guían sus acciones incluso cuando nadie las ve. Si queremos que nuestra sociedad funcione en orden, debemos comenzar a actuar, mejorar nuestros actos y compartirlos con los mas pequeños que representan el futuro de nuestra sociedad.

People with moral values are very clear about what is right and what is wrong. Their moral values do not change according to their circumstances, but are based on a solid set of principles that guide their actions even when no one sees them. If we want our society to function in order, we must begin to act, improve our actions and share them with the little ones who represent the future of our society.

¿Que podríamos hacer para enseñar valores morales a los niños? / What could we do to teach moral values to children?

• Calificar las acciones de los niños; utilice situaciones de la vida diaria y establezca contrastes. Por ejemplo: "Esto no es honrado", "Esto es una muestra de lealtad. Esto es una muestra de deslealtad". Con el tiempo el niño relacionara los valores con las acciones.

Rate children's actions; use everyday situations and establish contrasts. For example: "This is not honest," "This is a sign of loyalty. This is a sign of disloyalty. Over time, the child will relate values to actions.

• Explicar por que deben respetar su código moral; debemos razonar con los niños, ayudarlo a educar su conciencia. Por ejemplo, pregúntele: "¿Por que es mejor ser honrado?", "¿Por que mentir rompe las amistades?" o "¿Por que esta mal robar?".

Explain why they must respect their moral code; we must reason with the children, help them to educate their conscience. For example, ask him, "Why is it better to be honest," "Why does lying break friendships," or "Why is it wrong to steal?

• Destaque los beneficios de tener elevados los principios morales; podría decirles: "Si eres honrado, las personas confiaran en ti" o "Si eres amable, la gente querrá estar contigo".

Highlight the benefits of having high moral principles; you might say, "If you are honest, people will trust you" or "If you are kind, people will want to be with you.

• Usar situaciones cotidianas para hablar con su hijo de los valores morales de la familia. Puede compararlos con los de sus compañeros. Pregúntele: "¿Que habrías hecho tu?" "¿Que habría hecho nuestra familia?".

Use everyday situations to talk with your child about your family's moral values. You can compare them to those of their peers. Ask, "What would you have done?" "What would our family have done?"

• Debemos felicitarlos cuando se porten bien y corregirlos cuando se porten mal, deben saber que han hecho mal, los niños deben entender y asumir la responsabilidad de sus actos. Algunos padres no quieren hacer sentir mal a sus hijos, pero hablar con ellos de lo sucedido los ayudara a educar su conciencia y a distinguir entre lo correcto y lo incorrecto.

We must congratulate them when they behave well and correct them when they misbehave, they must know that they have done wrong, children must understand and take responsibility for their actions. Some parents do not want to make their children feel bad, but talking to them about what happened will help them to educate their conscience and to distinguish between right and wrong.

En consecuencia;
Los valores son todas aquellas cualidades que permiten una sana convivencia social, no basta solo con conocer cuales son los valores, hay que adoptarlos a nuestro día a día, ponerlos en practica y convertirlos en un habito. La mayoría de las personas pensamos que somos buenas personas, al no desear mal, ni insultar a nadie, pero no notamos que al tirar basura en la calle, al no saludar, al no responder un saludo, al no ser honestos con los demás, vamos perdiendo los valores. Actualmente no hacemos conciencia, nos preocupamos solo por nuestro bienestar individual.
Pero también hoy en día resulta difícil promover los valores, ya que con el ámbito político surgen diferentes opiniones y en vez de hablar y resolver las diferencias, son frecuentes los insultos. También es frecuente ver a algunos padres, maestros y jefes imponer autoridad en vez de promover los valores, todas estas razones hacen que poco a poco perdamos cualidades sociales, que seamos un sociedad egoísta y llena de violencia.

Consequently,
Values are all those qualities that allow a healthy social coexistence, it is not enough just to know what the values are, we must adopt them to our daily lives, put them into practice and make them a habit. Most of us think we are good people, not wishing badly, nor insulting anyone, but we do not notice that by throwing garbage in the street, by not greeting, by not answering a greeting, by not being honest with others, we are losing our values. Nowadays we do not make conscience, we worry only about our individual well-being.
But even today it is difficult to promote values, because with the political arena different opinions arise and instead of talking and resolving differences, insults are frequent. It is also frequent to see some parents, teachers and bosses imposing authority instead of promoting values, all these reasons make that little by little we lose social qualities, that we are a selfish society full of violence.
