A LOT TO LEARN | Mucho por aprender [Drawing - Illustration]

Hi everyone! Since a few days I'm seeing so many great artists here on Steemit and I'm so fascinated with them but also I noticed I need to learn a lot to be on their level. It's amazing the good quality content in #art and I'm feeling kind of small artist when I compare myself with them... I want to keep gettin' better but I feel like I'm stuck right here and haven't learnt quite much these years... Anyways. I'll keep doing my best because this is what I love and I do it to feel happy and to express myself.

This time I wanted to express that feeling with this drawing... It's a kid because that's how I feel behind all those great artist. Also he did not nailed it between what he imagine to create and what he's drawing. And that happens to me very often hahaha...

¡Hola a todos! Desde hace unos dias estoy viendo muchos excelentes artistas aqui en Steemit y estoy fascinado con ellos, y con eso me di cuenta que necesito aprender DEMASIADO para estar a su nivel. Es asombroso el contenido de buena calidad en #art y me siendo un poquito pequeño cuando me comparo con ellos. Quiero seguir mejorando pero me siento algo estancado porque no he aprendido mucho en estos ultimos años... Bueno, de todas formas seguire dando lo mejor de mi porque esto es lo que me gusta hacer, me hace feliz y asi me expreso de la mejor forma.

Por eso quise expresar ese sentimiento con este dibujo. Es un niño porque asi me siento delante de todos esos excelentes artistas. Además, el niño no es acertivo entre lo que imagina que puede hacer y el dibujo que hace. Eso porque me pasa muy a menudo jajajaja...

First thing was making a sketch about the idea I had in mind.

Lo primero que hice fue hacer un bosquejo a lápiz de la idea que tenia en mente.

I did the outlines with a thin marker and then I digitalized the pic to work with it in photoshop.

Resalte las lineas finales con un marcador punta fina y luego lo digitalicé para trabajarlo en photoshop.

In this step I used pen tool from photoshop to make simple shapes and have everything in flat style.

En este paso utilice el "pen tool" del photoshop para hacer figuras sencillas y plasmar la idea en estilo "plano".

Then I added some lights and shadow details to pop out some layers and give it depth to this illustration.

Luego agregué unas luces y detalles de sombras a la imagen para resaltar las capas y darle profundidad.

Result / Resultado

The final step was creating a group layer in photoshop called "final touch" to add my personal touch and make it more attractive.

En este paso agregué un capa de grupo llamada "retoques finales" para darle mi toque personal a la imagen y hacerla mas llamativa.
