Hola a toda la comunidad, hoy les traigo unas imágenes de un caso clínico, se trata de un paciente masculino, de 41 años que refiere que se le fracturó el diente, al momento de comer.

Hello to all the community, today I bring you some images of a clinical case, it is about a male patient, 41 years old who reports that his tooth was fractured, at lunch time.

Al examen clínico se observa una fractura amplia que involucra 3 superficies, oclusal, distal, palatina, verificamos que no haya caries remanente y procedemos a realizar la reconstrucción.

On clinical examination, a wide fracture is observed involving 3 surfaces, occlusal, distal, palatal, we verify that there is no remaining caries and we proceed to perform the reconstruction.

En esta oportunidad se realizó desmineralización con ácido fosfórico al 32%, luego el sistema de adhesión y se talló con resina fotocurado de la casa ivoclear color A3.

On this occasion, demineralization was carried out with 32% phosphoric acid, then the adhesion system and it was carved with A3 color ivoclear light-cured resin.

Se le recomienda al paciente tener cuidado a la hora de masticar por ese lado ya que el diente presenta poco tejido remanente, si llegara a volverse a fracturar lo más indicado es realizarse una corona fija metal-porcelana.

It is recommended that the patient be careful when chewing on that side, since the tooth has little remaining tissue. If it breaks again, the best thing to do is to have a fixed metal-porcelain crown.
