Some new silver and an awesome sandwich
So today i am wanna show some silver ware and explain why it is not for the stacker.
The items i am showing are a French set of knives and they marked up virole argent, which means the tiny ribbon between the handle and the blade is silver, i dont know the exact weight of the silver on each knife but i have scrapped others in the past and only recovered 2 grams per ribbon.
I think the reason they use the silver is so they can advertise the knives as silver and not epns, they are a still a nice set and can still demand a premium over the scrap value but not one for the stacker.

The sandwich
This is what i am having for lunch, i have just bought some demi baguette from the boulangerie and i sliced it, next i put lettace on the base and topped with sliced tomatoes and then lean ham, the top slice of bread i have spread garlic cheese on and then put it together and voila a sandwich i made in France.
The sandwich was awesome

I used my samsung galaxy s6 edge for the pictures

Sweet dude
Thanks for showcasing the set and I agree it is not for stackers, however in the right hands they can make a great reward as seen in that sandwich. Thanks for sharing.
Nice set, nicer sandwich reminds me of subway
Yeah, I could see how you wouldn't want to stack with those. The silver content is too low. I bought a few place settings so I could eat off silver when I wanted, but I won't be planning on buying many more knives. They're only 1/3 sterling. The other 2/3 is a stainless steel blade, and packing that goes in the handle. You set looks cool though, so you could use them in everyday life! The sandwich looks good too. ;)
