¡Hola chicos! ♥

Hoy me desperté creativa y súper motivada por crear nuevos proyectos, dibujos, y mucho más. Comencé ordenando un poco el desastre que tenía entre mis materiales de pintura y dibujo para que las ideas puedan fluir correctamente.

Today I woke up creative and super motivated to create new projects, drawings, and much more. I started sorting out the mess I had between my painting and drawing materials so that the ideas could flow correctly.

Me encontré con una caja de lápices, ocupaba mucho espacio y preferí guardarlos en otro lado. Cuando estaba a punto de botar la caja me entró ese "atacaso artístico" y no pude hacerlo. El cartón de esta me pareció un buen material para reutilizar, y como a la señorita aquí presente le cuesta deshacerse de las cosas, comencé a trabajar en este nuevo proyecto.

I found a pencil case, it took up a lot of space and I preferred to keep them somewhere else. When I was about to throw the box I got that 'artistic attack' and I couldn't do it. The cardboard of this one seemed to me a good material to reuse, and since the lady here here has a hard time getting rid of things, I started working on this new project.

Hice dos lindos marcalibros, bien fáciles de hacer y sobre todo útiles para aquellos amantes de la lectura. Resultan ser un lindo gesto, que además están hechos con mucho amor. Al mismo tiempo estamos aportando nuestro granito de arena con la naturaleza que tanto nos ha brindado, en lugar generar más basura.

I made two beautiful bookmarks, very easy to make and especially useful for those who love reading. They turn out to be a nice gesture, which are also made with a lot of love. At the same time we are contributing our grain of sand with the nature that has given us so much, instead of generating more garbage.

Materiales / Materials:

• Cartón para reciclar / Cardboard to recycle.
• Tijeras / Scissors.
• Sacabocados / Punching machine .
• Pincel / Brush.
• Pinturas / Paintings .

Paso a paso / Step by Step 1.- Lo primero fue recortar ambas caras de la caja de lápices. Si no tienes de este tipo de caja puedes utilizar cualquier cartón reciclado, bien sea de una caja de cereales, la tapa de un cuaderno viejo, o de alguna caja de zapatos.

The first thing was to cut both sides of the pencil case. If you do not have this type of box you can use any recycled cardboard, either from a cereal box, the cover of an old notebook, or a shoe box.

2.- Luego he redondeado las esquinas y con ayuda del sacabocados, he abierto un orificio en la parte superior donde pondremos un lindo cordel.

Then I have rounded the corners and with the help of the punch, I have opened a hole at the top where we will put a nice string.

3.- He pintado la base de mis marcalibros con pintura negra, agregué dos capas para que quedara bien cubierta la superficie.

I have painted the base of my bookmarks with black paint, I added two layers so that the surface was well covered.

4.- Con pintura al óleo de color lila pálido, pinté en uno de los marcalibros una pluma y el mensaje "Carpe Diem". En el otro media mandala.

With pale lilac oil painting, I painted a pen and the message 'Carpe Diem' on one of the bookmarks. In the other half mandala.

5.- Ya por último, solo resta colgar un lindo cordel en el agujero de ambos marcalibros. Este último paso no lo pude hacer aún porque debo esperar al menos un día que la pintura esté totalmente seca. No me pude aguantar para enseñárselos ♥ hahaha.

Utiliza una tira pequeña de cuero o alguna lana en el color que más gustes. También puedes agregarle algunas cuentas de madera o plástico en los extremos, lo que le dará un toque único.

Finally, just hang a nice string in the hole of both bookmarks. I couldn't do this last step yet because I have to wait at least one day for the paint to be completely dry. I couldn't stand to show them ♥ hahaha.

Use a small leather strip or some wool in the color you like best. You can also add some wooden or plastic beads at the ends, which will give it a unique touch.
