[ES/ENG] Savia cuidando de su retoño (ilustración y proceso) / Savia taking care of its sprout (illustration and process)
- ¡Saludos nuevamente, mis queridos viajeros steemianos! En esta mágica oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes una ilustración con la que me he divertido infinitamente, no solo por el proceso en sí mismo, sino además porque en ella interpreto, visualmente hablando, dos de los personajes que el Lobo ha creado para una historia que seguramente, en un futuro no muy lejano, sabrán apreciar. Ahora bien, me dispongo a mostrarles el procedimiento que he seguido durante esta ilustración.
- Greetings again, my dear travelers steemians! In this magical opportunity I want to share with you an illustration with which I have infinitely fun, not only for the process itself, but also because in it I interpret, visually speaking, two of the characters that El lobo has created for a story that surely, in the not too distant future, they will appreciate. Now, I am going to show you the procedure that I followed during this illustration.

Inicié generando una suerte de esbozo, empleando para ello el lápiz 2B (Diponible en el menú desplegable de pinceles, en la categoría sketch).
I started generating a kind of sketch, using the 2B pencil (available in the drop-down menu of brushes, in the sketch category).

Seguidamente, con el pincel bristles wet (disponible en el menú desplegable de pinceles, en la categoría wet), comencé a “manchar” los elementos de la composición, en una escala de grises.
Next, with the bristles wet brush (available in the drop-down menu of brushes, in the wet category), I began to "stain" the elements of the composition, in a gray scale.

Una vez finalizada la mancha, empecé a definir las formas. Para las hojas que emergen de la espalda de la diosa, me detuve en ejecutar con minuciosidad, las líneas que caracterízan a las mismas.
Once the stain was finished, I began to define the forms. For the leaves that emerge from the back of the goddess, I stopped to execute with meticulousness, the lines that characterize them.

Para su rostro reparé en definir más la mancha, para posteriormente añadir más detalles que evoquen la idea de suavidad.
For his face I noticed in defining more the stain, to later add more details that evoke the idea of softness.

De igual forma continué con el resto de la piel.
In the same way I continued with the rest of the skin.

Para las hojas que cubren su cuerpo seguí el mismo procedimiento que con las anteriores.
For the leaves that cover his body I followed the same procedure as with the previous ones.

El cabello lo definí añadiendo una gran masa en un tono muy bajo, y trazando luego, con el pincel muy delgado, cabellos en un tono medio-alto.
I defined the hair by adding a large mass in a very low tone, and then drawing, with the brush very thin, hair in a medium-high tone.

Para la madera del retoño seguí un proceso similar. Es decir, creé una masa de tono bajo, y en seguida tracé delgadas líneas que emularan la corteza.
For the sapling wood I followed a similar process. That is, I created a low-tone mass, and then I drew thin lines that emulated the cortex.

Para finalizar con el retoño en escala de grises, le añadí las hojas que recubren su cuerpo.
To finish with the gray scale sprout, I added the leaves that cover his body.

De inmediato continué por generar la textura del árbol del ambiente, siguiendo el mismo proceso que con la madera del retoño.
Immediately I continued to generate the texture of the tree of the environment, following the same process as with the wood of the shoot.

Para la roca del costado, manché la superficie, y seguidamente añadí detalles.
For the rock on the side, I smeared the surface, and then added details.

El arbusto del costado lo inicié de un modo similar, sin embargo, no enfaticé mucho las hojas, como hice con las anteriores, con el afán de no atribuirle mayor importancia.
The shrub on the side I started in a similar way, however, I did not emphasize the leaves very much, as I did with the previous ones, with the desire not to attribute greater importance.

En vista de que la escala de grises carecía de un elevado contraste, decidí ajustarlo. Para ello fui al panel superior > filtro > ajustar > curva de brillo/contraste > ajusté manualmente > ok
Since the gray scale lacked a high contrast, I decided to adjust it. For this I went to the top panel> filter> adjust> brightness / contrast curve> manually adjusted> ok

Por otra parte, ajusté la escala de grises a color, con el fin de matizar los elementos entre sí. Para ello presione CTRL + U > tipo > croma azul/croma rojo/luma > ajusté de modo manual > ok
On the other hand, I adjusted the gray scale to color, in order to qualify the elements to each other. To do this press CTRL + U> type> chroma blue / chroma red / luma> adjust manually> ok

Continuando con bristles wet, en una capa nueva, pinté el color plano de cada elemento.
*Es importante separar los colores en capas separadas, en vista de que cada color posee su propia luminosidad, en consecuencia, cada cual necesitará una opacidad mayor o menor.
Continuing with wet bristles, in a new layer, I painted the flat color of each element.
* It is important to separate the colors in separate layers, since each color has its own brightness, therefore, each will need a greater or lesser opacity.

Acto seguido, maticé la piel con colores rojizos, azules y amarillos.
Then, I matched the skin with reddish, blue and yellow colors.

Comencé a manchar el fondo, y a trazar delgadas líneas de color amarillento, en paralelo con los
bordes del cabello de la diosa, con el fin de emularle.
I began to stain the background, and to draw thin lines of yellowish color, parallel with the edges of the goddess's hair, in order to emulate him.

Continué manchando el fondo con amarillos y verdes.
I continued to stain the background with yellows and greens.
19.
Procedí añadiendo luces y sombras al retoño valiéndome de azules y amarillos.
I proceeded by adding lights and shadows to the shoot using blue and yellow.
20.
En este punto decidí añadir más luces y sombras en la totalidad de la composición, de igual modo, con azules y amarillos.
At this point I decided to add more lights and shadows in the whole composition, likewise, with blues and yellows.
21.1, 21,2
Para finalizar, añadí más detalles al fondo, con pequeños trazos amarillos que emularían el follaje de los árboles.
To finish, I added more details to the background, with small yellow strokes that would emulate the foliage of the trees.
