So...here i am, i guess

Hello fellow Steemians!

Since i've been on steemit for more than a week already i think it's about time to #introducemyself . My name Is Bogdan, I am a romanian doctor, i work in research and i teach public health. But enough with the boring stuff.

Other than that, i'm an amateur photographer - i enjoy taking snaps of pretty much anything that impresses me - from insects to awe inspiring scenery to people whom i find fascinating. For photography purposes i either use my old and trustworthy Nikon D40 or my everyday companion - my smartphone. I like posting my pictures and i love hearing your opinions about them since i believe this is one of the best ways for me to improve my technique

I travel a lot - both for business and leisure and i enjoy meeting people and learning about new cultures and customs. I found that travel can open up your mind more than any conventional educational system. Every once in a while i find new and fascinating places that urge me to write about them. I will satisfy those urges here. Some of my travel diaries may be older, some details might change in time but i will do my best to convey the feelings that helped those places make their way to my soul.

Also i love food. I mean...who doesn't? I love to cook as much as i love to eat and i love to experiment with my cooking so whenever i will find a new combination that makes my taste buds go crazy i will make sure to share it with you guys. I love ethnic food so ideas, suggestions and recipes are always welcome.

Last but not least, i've recently become fascinated with this whole cryptocurrency world. I'm very curious to see how the blockchain revolution will change the world we live in and i try to keep pace with the latest news. My main interests are Stellar lumens, Ripple, IOTA and, of course STEEM.

Oh...and did i mention i like streemit? :)
