Unos de mis hobbies: Hand Lettering / One of my hobbies: Hand Lettering

 Tal y como dije en mi pequeña presentación a esta comunidad, a parte de mi profesión, durante el tiempo libre que tengo suelo dedicarme a hacer otras cosas. Entre ellas, el “Hand lettering”. Algunos ya sabréis de qué se trata pero para los que no, se trata de un arte que consiste en crear letras a mano.   Hay distintas maneras de dibujar las letras además de que podemos encontrar muchísimas tipologías en internet.   Una de las páginas que recientemente encontré y que tengo guardada para seguir practicando es la siguiente:

As I said in my small presentation to this community, apart from my profession, during my free time I have to dedicate myself to doing other things. Among them, the "Hand lettering". Some of you will know what it is about but for those who do not, it is an art that consists of creating letters by hand. There are different ways of drawing the letters and we can find many typologies on the internet.One of the pages that I recently found and that I have saved to continue practicing is the following:  http://www.dafont.com/es/ 

 En ella podemos encontrar un montón de preciosas tipologías que se pueden descargar. Muchas de ellas las tengo instaladas en el openoffice porque, además de utilizarlas para practicar, también me gusta gastarlas en la producción de las fichas o los trabajos que realizo para la escuela.   

In it we can find a lot of beautiful typologies that can be downloaded. Many of them I have installed in the openoffice because, in addition to using them to practice, I also like to spend them in the production of the worksheets or the works that I do for the school.

Siempre se me había dado bien imitar las letras de los demás, incluso he llegado a hacerle los deberes a una amiga mía cuando estábamos en el instituto. Y os puedo decir que su caligrafía era y es bastante horrorosa, cosa que no quita para ser una gran diseñadora gráfica. 

It had always been good for me to imitate the letters of others, I even got to do the homework to a friend of mine when we were in high school. And I can tell you that her handwriting was and is quite awful, which does not remove to be a great graphic designer.

 Gracias a esta técnica, he conseguido desarrollar mucho más mi creatividad y la suelo utilizar en momentos que quiero relajarme. No obstante, la hora del desayuno es mi momento preferido ya que me levanto con tiempo para dedicarme un ratito a ello.   Como iréis viendo a lo largo de mi paso por aquí, lo que elijo para escribir suelen ser frases famosas, trozos de canciones o cualquier cosa que en ese momento signifiquen algo para mí.   

Thanks to this technique, I have managed to develop my creativity much more and I use it in moments when I want to relax. However, breakfast time is my favorite time as I get up in time to devote a little time to it. As you will see throughout my time here, what I choose to write are usually famous phrases, pieces of songs or anything that at that moment mean something to me.

Aquí os muestro el rotulador que utilizo para mis creaciones. Si bien es el que suelo utilizar, ayer mismo por fin me decidí a comprarme unos rotuladores pincel que existen. Estoy deseando que me lleguen y poder empezar a aprender otras técnicas. 

Here I show you the marker I use for my creations. Although it is the one I use, yesterday I finally decided to buy some brush markers that exist. I am looking forward to being able to start learning other techniques.

Aquí os dejo una de mis primeras letras con fecha de 12 de septiembre de 2016. Por esas fechas fue cuando empecé a registrar en una libreta cada una de mis obras :) Por cierto, utilizo unas libretas que venden en Ikea en paquetes de 3 ya que tienen folios gruesos que ayudan a que el dibujo no traspase a las siguientes hojas. Os las recomiendo para cualquier trabajo plástico. 

Here I leave one of my first letters dated September 12, 2016. By those dates was when I started to record in a notebook each of my works :) By the way, I use a notebooks that sell in Ikea in packages of 3 already that have thick sheets that help that the drawing does not transpose to the following sheets. I recommend them for any craft and arts.

"Quiero que vengas conmigo a cualquier otra parte" es una de las canciones que más me gusta del grupo español llamado Dorian. Os lo recomiendo. 

"I want you to come with me anywhere else" is one of the songs I like most of the Spanish group  called Dorian. I recommend it to you.
