**English version**
This matte painting is inspired by a photograph I took when I was sailing in a boat through the arms of the Amacayacu River in southern Colombia. I edited the photo and painted it in photoshop. Then, to give the scene a dark and mysterious atmosphere of a cold but calm night I chose several types of brushes to apply them in different layers. In each layer I added elements such as, textures made with small brushes, lights and shadows on the branches of trees, fog, rain, etc. At the end of the process, the photograph of the beginning had been almost completely covered.

Esta pintura mate está inspirada en una fotografía que tomé cuando estaba navegando en un barco a través de los brazos del río Amacayacu en el sur de Colombia. Edité la foto y la pinté en photoshop. Luego, para darle a la escena una atmósfera oscura y misteriosa de una noche fría pero tranquila, elegí varios tipos de pinceles para aplicarlos en diferentes capas. En cada capa agregué elementos como, texturas hechas con pequeños pinceles, luces y sombras en las ramas de los árboles, niebla, lluvia, etc. Al final del proceso, la fotografía del comienzo había sido cubierta casi por completo_
