ICO Bounty Hunting Platforms - Find the Best Paying Crypto Bounties

in #crypto6 years ago (edited)

There is a lot of money to be made in the crypto industry and you don't always need to have a specific skill-set to get in on the action. Many upcoming ICOs are giving out huge potential rewards, if you enter their bounty program. It can be quite difficult to find and keep track of all these lucrative bounties, which is why it's in your best interest to have an overview of all available bounties.

I've compiled a comprehensive list of the most popular ICO bounty platforms that I could find. There you can find a number of simple tasks that you could perform in exchange for ICO tokens. This could either be very profitable or you might end up with a bunch of worthless tokens, depending on how the ICO performs after launch.

The type of tasks you need to perform in order to be eligible for bounties differ from one ICO to another. The most common type of bounties are awarded for promoting the ICO through various social media channels. You'll even find bounties for writing articles on Steemit or Medium. Don't worry if you don't have a big social media presence, there are usually also other tasks available such as translation and participation in airdrops.

List of ICO/Crypto Bounty Hunting Platforms

Bitcointalk Bounties Board

Almost every ICO has a bounty thread on Bitcointalk forum. It's a little bit hard to go through all of them, since there's no way to filter ICOs by specific parameters.

You don't necessarily need to have an account on Bitcointalk to participate in these bounties, though it is handy.

Usually you'll be able to participate on the website of the ICO. Keep in mind that Bitcointalk has a pretty strict policy against spam, so be mindful that you don't leave low-effort replies on the bounty threads.

Bounty0x

This bounty platform is currently still in alpha development stage, but still have over 400 bounty programs on offer. You can apply a whole range of filter, to narrow down the type of bounty you're interested in.

Bounty0x will also release their own token (BNTY) soon, to be used on their platform.

I've seen some really interesting offers on Bounty0x, so it's worth checking out even though it's still in alpha. Their website looks very professional and I'm a big fan of their branding.

Bountyhunters.io

Bountyhunters.io is looking to build a platform which gives ICOs detailed statistics on the impact of bounty campaigns managed through Bountyhunter.io's platform.

You can automatically share ICOs on your various social media accounts, directly through this website. You will then automatically receive rewards (stakes).

There are currently around 100 bounty campaigns active on their website. I'm a little bit confused how their internal reward system works, since you seem to be paid out in 'stakes'. Their FAQ does not provide a decent answer to this question.

Bounty Platform

Bounty Platform is an established bounty hunter website that has over 20.000 users.

Members can easily manage their bounty campaigns and get access to some of the most exclusive bounty programs available. There are bounties available for all sorts of tasks.

Aside from bounties, you'll also find a huge number of airdrops here, which you can view without having to create an account. Easily one of my favorite bounty platforms, recommended!

ICO Bench

Another big bounty hunter platform, they boast over 50.000 registered members and 3500 ICOs participating on their website.

They offer ICO ratings as their main activity, but have a segment on their website that's dedicated to ICO's bounty programs. You're able to filter ICOs on their given rating, so you can avoid any obvious scams that way.

The thing I like most about ICO Bench is that you can browse through thousands of ICOs, which are all categorized by type. I've created my own profile on ICO Bench, so project managers can contact me for participating in specific bounty campaigns. Recommended!

ICO Drops

On this website you'll find an up-to-date list of active and upcoming ICO bounties. There aren't that many ICOs listed , but there could still be a couple of interesting ones.

When you click on an ICO, you'll see a lot of information about the bounty program and the project.

With this platform, I like the fact that they've made it easy to scroll through many different ICOs in a short time. I've noticed a few interesting ones while reviewing their website.

Bug Bounties

There are many projects that offer bounties if you can find critical bugs in their code. These typically pay a lot more than other types of bounties. You do need to have some experience as a programmer, in order to take advantage of those kinds of rewards. You'll usually find these types of bounties on crypto exchange websites or on cryptocurrency project pages.

Author's notes

With the help of all the platforms listed in this article, you can easily make hundreds, if not thousands of dollars per month. Everything depends on how good the ICO will do after it has launched, you might see the value of your tokens multiply or go down.

If you have some sort of following on social media, you can be sure that there are numerous bounty programs available for you. Most of which do not even require any real effort, except writing a short post and sharing it. Having an account of Bitcointalk is recommended, since most projects give out good rewards for participating in Bitcointalk promotion campaigns.

I hope this information is useful to a lot of people. If you have any question or remarks, be sure to leave a comment!
