La Audiencia Nacional ha condenado al rapero mallorquín Josep Miquel Arenas, conocido como Valtónyc, a casi 4 años de prisión por los delitos de enaltecimiento del terrorismo, injurias a la corona y amenazas relacionadas con una de sus canciones.

Este hecho ha provocado la reacción de varios colectivos bajo el grito de No Callarem (No callaremos) en defensa de la libertad de expresión mediante la organización de un festival en Badalona donde asistieron 5000 personas, 100 voluntarios y decenas de artistas quienes juntos lograron crear una caja de resistencia con varios miles de euros destinados a apoyar a Valtonyc y otros afectados por estas condenas.

Albert Pla, Fermín Muguruza, Lágrimas de Sangre, Txarango, Green Valley, Che Sudaka, Maika Makovsky, Ovidi3, Mishima, Maria Arnal i Marcel Bagès, KOP,  Seward, FRAC, Nico Roig, Raynald Colom, Javier Gallego (Carne Cruda), ZA!, Elgio y el mismo Valtonyc apoyaron el evento con 12 horas de música el pasado 21 de mayo en el Parc Gran Sol cedido por los vecinos del barrio de Llefià y la alcaldesa de Badalona Dolors Sabater, quienes también estuvieron presentes en el evento.

Muy lejos de esa realidad el Partido Popular, con  Xavier Albiol a la cabeza, presentaron una moción en el Ajuntament de Badalona para prohibir la celebración conciertos en la ciudad protagonizados por condenados por enaltecer el terrorismo. 

Dicha moción ha sido aprobada gracias a los 11 votos del PP y Ciudadanos y la abstención de PSC  y CIU.

Antiguos odios, viejos terrorismos y un descontextulizado civismo casi eclesiástico son las banderas de este Partido Popular cuyo slogan cuando eran gobierno de Badalona fue “Limpiando Badalona”. Así, sin tapujos.

La persecución a Valtonyc contúa como refleja el embargo a la cuenta bancaria donde recibía aportes de amigos y colegas.

No Callarem no ha acabado. No sólo el crowfunfing sigue abierto, si no que ya hay previstos otros No Callaremos en el resto del estado español, como el de hoy, 21 de junio en Valladolid con los artistas Miguel Grimaldo, La Sonidera Garbanzo, Kiko Sumillera y Fever Girl DJ.

Afortunadamente, “El Tribunal Supremo ha absuelto Cesar Strawberry y sus tuits del delito de enaltecimiento al que le condenó la Audiencia Nacional al considerar que para que se produzca el enaltecimiento es imprescindible valorar el contexto en el que se enmarcan los mensajes, la intención del autor y la repercusión del tuit. “  Alejandro Torrús - Público.

Es lamentable ver como en este siglo ya XXI algunos gobernantes siguen anclados en el estilo macartista de los años 50 condenando cualquier opinión contraria a sus ideas, siendo incapaces de interpretar la poesía, la metáfora y el mensaje que no es otro que la voz de un pueblo cansado e indignado por tanto desequilibrio social y económico, por tanta corrupción e impunidad, por tantos intentos de retrasar el avance real de este país.

Aún seguimos viendo en horarios familiares infinidad de películas sobre la mafia y a nadie se le ocurre acusar a Coppola o a Scorsese de enaltecimiento del terrorismo / formación de banda armada / crimen organizado. ¿O si?
