Cryptocurrency Taught Me How Important a Whitepaper is in my Projects

I'm 21 years old, a junior at Rutgers University studying Computer Science.

Meh. Pretty boring ice breaker, let me try again.
My name is Bradley :)

I'm writing this at 3am from a rundown frat house with a table on top of another table (wut?). It's a freezing winter night, and I walked back home 2 blocks in the brisk cold because the library evacuated due to a fake bomb (I gave my jacket to someone who needed it). I'm an avid learner and spend most of my life somewhere in-between sciences and humanities.

Due to laziness, here is a picture from a few days ago of the exact spot I'm in currently:

Side projects have always been everything to me. I think till the day I die I'll be throwing the dice hoping a project takes off. I love the idea of crafting something from scratch and working with a team.

That being said, I haven't had too much opportunity to work at an official big company. Luckily, I just accepted an internship at Vanguard as an Application Developer! But until then, I've had to learn management on my own.

Cryptocurrency taught me how important it is to think of scale right at the beginning. If you do not set a heavy foundation for a company in the beginning. It will end up being a tangled mess.

I've gone ahead the past few hours and wrote in a well organized Google Doc everything about my current project NoviceDock (an education platform). It's morals, how to write content, where it should be in 2 months, 6 months, year, etc.

Not only does this help the audience understand the project, but it really allows all members internally to be on the same page. Like any sort of personal blogging, it allows me to fully understand the project. I can now do and assign task relative to the document.

So whether it is your life or a side project, sit down and organize it on paper. Give it to everyone involved, and make sure they're on the same page.
