Sunday Funday In San Diego! Classic Car Show & Food Porn By The Beach!
Sunday’s are usually our days off so the Mr. and I made plans to go see our friend perform with the Navy Band out in town at a local street fair.
Seeing the Navy Band perform was very nostalgic to me as my sweetheart Jason had been in the Navy Band. I remember all the community gigs I accompanied him to early on in our marriage. Being a Navy spouse is not easy and adding a military musicians schedule on top of that makes it even harder! My love and respect forever goes out to the military families out there.
It was pretty packed and there were lots of local shops sponsoring the event with free food and crafts/entertainment for the children!
The Destroyers NAVY Band had the crowd entertained! It truly was a great performance!
A local classic car club hosted their car show there. There were so many beautiful old cars!
We ended our night with a romantic dinner by the sea.
I had the tomato bisque...
Jason has the clam chowder...
And we shared a margherita flatbread.
It truly was a fun Sunday!
