Close but not so close

I go a little nostalgic, because a great friend left the country leaving a certain emptiness in my heart; Although we often talk about the need to make us laugh, go out and have fun, they beat me.
And that's why I wrote these words a few days ago;

There can be millions of kilometers forming a great distance, but the longing to be together is reciprocal.
We are 'far away and as close as January and December', because our hearts merge and achieve the intangible; be together even in the distance.
