Magical Dreams IV Surreal Art Exhibition in Viechtach, Bavaria
On Sunday, 25.03.2018, we visited Viechtach, Bavaria, where we (@michaeldietrich, me and our baby girl) spent a very special day. This small town is currently hosting the exhibition "Magical Dreams IV", which features works by several high-ranking Surrealists. It is an extremely inspirational compilation of fantastic original paintings and sculptures by artists, some of whom can be found here on Steemit (please correct if I have forgotten one): @reinhard-schmid, @thermoplastic, @gric, @timroosen. If you have the opportunity to visit this exhibition, you should definitely visit it until May 12, 2018.
Am Sonntag, den 25.03.2018, zog es uns nach Viechtach, Bayern, wo wir (@michaeldietrich, ich und unser Sprößling) einen ganz besonderen Tag verbracht haben. In dieser kleinen Stadt gastiert zur Zeit die Ausstellung „Magical Dreams IV“, auf der Werke etlicher hochrangiger Surrealisten zu betrachten sind. Es ist eine überaus inspirierende Zusammenstellung phantastischer Original-Gemälde und Skulpturen von Künstlern, die zum Teil auch hier auf Steemit zu finden sind (mit Bitte um Korrektur, falls ich einen vergessen habe): @reinhard-schmid, @thermoplastic, @gric, @timroosen. Wer die Möglichkeit hat, diese Ausstellung zu besuchen, sollte sie unbedingt bis zum 12. Mai 2018 noch besuchen.

As inspiring as the exhibition was the subsequent visit to the artist Café Venus, just a few meters away, where we spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the hospitality of dear @reinhard-schmid and his wife. Thanks you so much for that!
So inspirierend wie die Ausstellung war der anschließende Besuch im wenige Meter entfernte Künstler-Café Venus, wo wir den restlichen Nachmittag verbrachten und die Gastfreundschaft des lieben @reinhard-schmid und seiner Frau genossen. Herzlichen Dank dafür!

That must have been something ! Their work is fantastic when you see it on a computer screen, I can't imagine in reality :)

Oh yes, it´s totally different, because you can see every little detail and the structure of the canvas and the paint. Some are huge, others are tiny with a peculiar framing.. thank you for your comment!
