I am intrigued by all of this but don't understand what the stakes are or what your guessing the result is . Sorry if I'm being dumb I want to get involved but don't understand
No worries! The stake is the amount of money I am placing on this particular bet in comparison to my bankroll. Let's say we have a bankroll of 1.000 Dollar. So we split this amount into 100 units so each unit is worth 10 dollar. When my stake is 2/10 it means I am betting to risk 2 units of my bankroll. In further blog posts I will try to explain everything more in detail! Would be great if you follow me.
Im already following you , thanks for replying . What I might do is check out what you putting down and place some cheap bets at my local betting shop. I like to place bets the old school way and then share the results.
Sorry another question who are you betting will win in the game , is it the first team or am I missing something ?
Ah sorry, didnt see that! If I am betting on the Moneyline (ML), this means that I am betting the team to win the game, e.g. Rangers ML = Rangers to win. If I am betting on Giants AHC -1,0 then I am betting that they will win with a handicap of -1,0 runs. So if the score is 6-4 Giants I won the bet. If the score is 6-5 Giants my stake will be returned and if they don't win, my best is lost. Hope that makes sense

Welcome to the Steem community. I love sports betting myself, but I havent done much baseball this season. What site do you use for gambling? Have you heard of the new crypto coin called wagerr? It's a sports betting coin with slightly better odds than regular sports books. Could be interesting to see how it does. Followed and upvoted
Pinnacle is indeed the best option you can use right now as they will give you on average the best price by far.
As a sport bettor wagerr hasn't really sold me yet as their odds likely will be lower then what pinnacle is offering.
As a crypto investment I'm going to look into it though.

What I would like to see as a blockchain project that is a clone of betfair with a highly reduced comission. That would kick some serious dust in the bookmaking world :)
Thanks a lot! I am using Pinnaclesports most of the time. Best odds, best limits and so on! Yeah I heard from wagerr and due to my passion I invested a bit into their ICO. Excited to see how they will do.
Yeah i wish i was able to get in on their ICO, but i have bought a little afterwards. I use bet365 because it has the most sports available, but pinnacle is not bad too. Good luck
Thats right. The main problem with bet365 for me is, that they are limiting winning players. Thats why it makes no sense for me in the long run! Also the odds on US Sports are way worse than at Pinnacle
