A 3 Way Attack To Grow Your STEEM Account...The Right Way!
You know you are addicted to STEEM when the first thing you do is check @Partiko and not my other social media apps...
I always like to check my notifications first thing in the morning, so I can see who responded or commented to my blog and this morning I saw a question that at first...Seemed straight forward enough from @peachyladiva
My answer seems to cover it right?
Engage and add value daily!
Simple right?
I mean, just tell everyone on STEEM to add value daily and engage with the community...Easy answer! But the more I thought about this, the more I KNOW there is more to it...
I'm calling this my 3 Way Steem Attack!
Each step is designed to not only grow your account here on the STEEM blockchain, but also add value to others and of course...Start getting you noticed by the community!
We'll dive into each tip in detail and I hope you get some great ideas on how you can build your account using these techniques...
You hear it talked about consistently. Show up every day and engage with the community! But why is this advice so critical to your journey here on STEEM? Easy...This blockchain is driven by actual people! One peek at StateofTheDapps.com and you can see, people and actual use cases are driving this blockchain. There is no hype, no hoopla...Just the simple fact that PEOPLE are STEEM's most valubale resource.
So with that in mind...
Engaging helps you invest in what matters most...The relationships! And the people!
So my suggestion would be, to pick a few Steemians that you enjoy engaging with and make a daily habit to do just that. Because it comes down to investing the time in developing those relationships and that happens by engagement...Every day!
I know online gaming has a HUGE future for STEEM...I'm just as addicted to @drugwars as the next Steemain ;)
However we cannot forget what brought STEEM into existence and that's it's content creation elements...From Steemit, Busy, Steempeak, dTube, Vimm, dSound, Appics...Creating content on STEEM has never been easier and more visible!
Now I'm not saying, you need to write a blog post everyday...But use the dApps on STEEM and create something....Every day!
Take a picture with Appics! Record a video on dTube. Host a podcast on dSound. Unleash your inner gamer on Vimm....Whatever you LOVE to do...Do it on STEEM! And create every single day!
This does a few things but more importantly it helps create your flow content. The content that reminds people you are out there and shows up in the feeds every day. It helps bring people to your account and shows that you are serious about the blockchain and all it's amazing dApps...No excuse, get out there now and create!
When @NathanMars hit me up a few months ago to start the #RoadTo300SP project, he said it bluntly...
'We need to help people see the power of having skin in the game!'
And this is what 'dollar cost averaging' can help you do...With any budget!
Now let me be clear..This isn't financial advice because if you look at my track record, I invested thousands upon thousands of dollars last year in STEEM and...Well, 30 cent STEEM doesn't really let me retire....Yet ;)
But what 30 cent STEEM does is help me get skin in the game by buying STEEM a lot cheaper now than I did last year...Because I never cared about price! I saw the value of STEEM at $3 each so I most definitely see it at 30 cents.
Every week, no matter what the price...I bought STEEM and powered it up.
I didn't spend millions to get skin in the game and you don't have to either. Buy a few STEEM a week, but do it every single week...No matter what the price is!
That's dollar cost averaging.
So you win when it's down, and WIN when it's up!

Really good steps, Jon. I engage daily, I show people how I love their content creation. I invested a small amount of FIAT in Steem and powered up. I should do more posts. But that is a problem time management. And I can only recommend all new members to follow your advice and tips. I think I can reach 300SP ( 261 at the moment ) soon.

It really does. And once people understand that it not only leads to upvotes but to making friends - they will keep doing it.
The absolute best approach to grow our stakes! I am here thinking what I can add but can’t think of anything at the moments as these are the foundation that I built upon as well!

Your three way attack plan makes sense and has been working for me.
I have not been posting as of late, just commenting on interesting blogs when I find them.
Been using the apps as much as I can.
I have been buying as much Steem as I can while the price is down.
My account is growing slowly but steadily.
I do have to get back to posting on my blog on a regular basis again.

It's shame many 'big' people don't see it that way though...
ya i hear ya. it would be nice to see all the whales step up but if we wait for them to engage with us , steem will never reach the levels i think it can.

That's a good plan of attack and good breakdown of how to make good use of the Steemit Platform as well as the amazing Dapps. Now my only concern is this... If Steemit Inc, sells out or folds tomorrow would I still be able to access my crypto wallet and see transactions on an open ledger somewhere else? Or is my Steem at the mercy of Steemit Inc and solely dependint on the Steemit platform?
lots of development on those issues taking place right now. as far as i know everything is always on the blockchain. but steemit does have the wallets. but pretty sure there are ways around it. someone a lot smarter than me can explain it better lol

My history and experience of helping others build networks and businesses only to have them either throw in the towel or close the doors and run before they even got started makes me vigilant and want to question this unlikely but possible scenario where Steemit Inc is suddenly no longer and I can't get access to my retirement fund... I do believe there is a way to get to Steem without Steemit if push came to shove, however at the moment I have no clue about it, this is an area for me to research and study in future.

Oh yes I agree, there is so much more to the Steem Blockchain than Steemit, I don't have any issues using Steemit and I do recommend it to others, maybe I'm being overly cautious.... and oh.... there's still so much to learn and lot's of projects in development I'm enjoying the journey so far... struggling to keep up at times but it's all good!
My drive for steem is that I love steemit and I believe in this platform when I see all the work and energy being put by people to get this platform working. I do the engagement and content creation part but the last part is difficult for me cause most of us in Nigeria like @peachyladiva don't have that kinda money to purchase steem cause our country's economy is a mess right now. But I am taking advantage of YouTube videos to learn and from my understanding of Vest, I know people on steemit now are getting more steem and SP from payout than usually which is an advantage so my advice for her is to leverage this moment, power up and make the most out of this moment through content creation if she can't buy liquid steem.
that’s why i think 30 cent steem is a blessing for so many around the world. at 3 bucks, i understand completely.
but trade time for money if you don’t have access to investment funds. hustle harder and you will win :)
