First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.
Phew it's been a scorcher, after pretty much a month of rain finally summer has made a last gasp in the UK - it won't last rain is forecast in a few more days time....until March.
We have been making good use of the warm weather, yesterday out all day at the park and lakes walking and doing some magnet fishing - well until the magnet unscrewed from the hook the rope was tied to.
Today, a trip out to York to enjoy more of the sunshine and countryside.
Busy bee's making good use of the dry flowers while they can.
Look at the burning orb of flame, it's been a day of perspiration.
And a cute doggy!
Mostly flowers though, during our countryside walk.
And another Butterfly, they are being nice for sitting for me at the moment.
Purple flowers.
A very striking red flower.
And an unusual yellow one.
And some tiny little pink ones too.

No clouds today, just blue sky it’s divine - but in the UK winter is just around the corner - 5 months of clouds and rain sigh. !COFFEEA rebooted my bot 5 times today lol, it’s actually hard work keeping the damn thing running!

Wonder how magnet fishing is like. never heard much about it.
Basically you get a very strong magnet and tie a long rope to the magnet. Then you throw the magnet into a lake or river, drag it back and see what exciting metal objects you have caught. Location is key with this though, a bridge over a river or canal in a town or city will obviously have more treasure like coins, rings, phones etc then one in the countryside. All we got from the park lake was a bike tire, half a clothes line pole, numerous nails and the side panel from a motorbike bizarrely !COFFEEA

What better way to cool off than to spend time at the lakes and parks @c0ff33a I wish you could send us some of that rain which is forecast. We're going through a lengthy dry spell but it is much worse in other areas.
Your floral macro shots are magnificent and I love the photo of that cute dog. Enjoy the week ahead. (U & R )
We love the sun when we get it on rare occasions, but it’s easy for the predominantly damp UK to forget some regions get so dry for so long plants struggle to survive and wild fires are rife.
The dog is my aunties, very lovely loved to jump up at anyone it sees - in a friendly way. !COFFEEA

So much awesomeness! Looks like you did make great use of the good weather while it lasts. Bummer about the magnet fishing though. Too funny (for a couple reasons) that you have a York nearby - firstly of course, because of my name, and also because we have a town called York not too far away from us. 😊
Love the cute doggy photo, but that next shot of the white and purple flowers completely wowed me! The way you framed it, as well as the lighting, makes it look positively three dimensional. Your other flower shots are beautiful as well, and that funky edit is wicked cool!

York seems to be a popular name around the world, but does your York have a Viking history?
I would love to say I spent hours composing the white and purple flower photo - but it’s pure fluke I just seem something I think looks ok - point the phone and hit the down volume that acts like a shutter to take the shot. Then shuffle off to find something else exciting- or that could be. It’s a miracle that anything comes out in focus - I suppose is should thank Apple for making the stock photo app on iPhone. !COFFEEA

As always a great Sunday full of many colors. I loved the first photo, it looks so alive, it seems that it teleports you to the place haha, hey the boy in stockings looks great, be careful jhaja is cut. I really like the dog's appearance with its different colored eyes, I imagine with eyes like that, would I be handsome? haha !COFFEEA 10
Thank you very much, it has been sunny and nice in the UK. The dog does have an albino eye quite unusual . My boy had to wade into the lake to free the magnet - so got his shoes and socks wet - then he took the shoes off but with all the dirt and soil around the lake edge got his socks filthy. So we had to go into the grassy park where he could play in bare feet while I tried my best to shake the mud from his socks and dry them and his shoes !COFFEEA

Nice to see that sun make it's final entrance before it scoots away again at least it had the decency to come and say goodbye till next year when it comes back for it's couple days of summer....lol..and you have some beautiful flowers out that way :)

Oh tell me about it, I can’t believe the sun is already setting at 7pm it feels like summer just flew by in an instant and soon I will be leaving work in the dark and going to work in the dark sigh !COFFEEA
