"Growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional"

Words in my mind as i wait for the train to arrive. I was going home from work saturday 7 am manila time. Sometimes whenever i travel alone i love how I can see things differently. How i can associate small things in a bigger scale. How I can broaden my imagination and add colors to monotonous tones of things.

Sometimes I find it very relaxing to just walk around with no concrete destination. Nothing to worry about time or problems but just clearing my mind and wonder about the stories behind the smiles and frowns of people passing by,admiring how huge buildings were built, how the little girl ended up sleeping on the streets, how couples ended up with each other, does true love exist, etc. Being a generalist, i'm fascinated by a lot of random stuff. And this picture showcases how a simple street sign can express a story.

And being a girl with so many unkept and unspoken emotions sometimes find sanctuary in discovering things on my own. A small piece of me that a few is aware of :)
