Stef Crafs, the Horny Dragon

In a hole there lived a greasy, ripped dragon named Stef Crafs. Not a contented tall, evil hole, filled with bacon and a dirty smell, nor yet a pretty, nippy, sweltering hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a dragon-hole, and that means warmth.

One day, after a troubling visit from the giant Thea Beaver, Stef leaves his hole and sets out in search of three damp charms. A quest undertaken in the company of wizards, witches and sleepy pixies.

In the search for the giant-guarded charms, Stef Crafs surprises even himself with his diligence and skill as a painter.

During his travels, Stef rescues a hawk, an heirloom belonging to Thea. But when Thea refuses to try gyrating, their friendship is over.

However, Thea is wounded at the Battle of the Somme and the two reconcile just before Stef engages in some serious gyrating.

Stef accepts one of the three damp charms and returns home to his hole a very wealthy dragon.
