The Call Of Amsterdam
A Psychological Novel
75-year-old Lauren Kowalski had given up on her life's ambition to become a police officer.
However, at a birthday party she discovers some malicious wizards trying to mug her articulate friend, Reginald Lakeman, and she decides it's time for change.
In need of some wigs and tender aardvarks, bold and funny Lauren pops to Moscow for a bit of shopping.
Having led a contented life, Lauren finds herself unable to find tender aardvarks in Moscow. So she sets out to acquire some tender aardvarks from Amsterdam instead.
Soon, she has all the tender aardvarks she needs and begins secretly applying for police officer jobs. She soon realises that malicious wizards plan to sabotage her new career prospects and decides to take action.
However, the end of the world approaches, and time is running out for Lauren. She is left with two options: stop the malicious wizards in one hour, or allow the world to end in a ball of fire.
