The Story Of The Forest Man
There once was a teenage boy by the name of Jadav “Molai” Payeng. He came from an island in India called Majuli island. They speak their own language, has its own culture, religion and history. There is a sandbar near the island and that is where Jadav lives.
One day after some very damaging floods the waters receeded and it became very hot. You see many trees had been cut down by his people for food and shelter as is the way in most places of the world. He was walking near the sandbar and he came upon the lifeless bodies of several snakes. Now most people wouldn't care and say they are only snakes but Jadav was different. In his mind what he beheld was pure carnage. There was no shade and the many snakes that littered the ground had died from the heat. His heart broke and he cried.... and then he decided to do something... this is his story...
As Jadav said the only monsters on the planet ... are humans. I believe he is incorrect though. After watching him in this video I didn't see him as a monster at all but a wondrous creature in the middle of his own making. An inspiration for others a... Forest Man.
