INSINCERITY IN THE HIGEST ORDER

For a marriage or relationship to be fruitful and progressive, the husband and the wife suppose to live in love, oneness, unity and most especially be sincere to each other.

This story am about to share with you is an expression of an act of insincerity from an insincere woman to her husband which almost cause her life.

Mr. Festus was a very struggling young man from a very poor background, despite his poor family background, he didn't allow that to be an upstacle from acheiving his dream of becoming a professional teacher, this young man struggle and send his self to the university where he studied economic education so as to become a teacher as he always dreamth of, at the end of the day, his dream came through, he graduated from the institution and had his certificate which proofed him a professional teacher.

As his mind is always on his desire, suddenly, he got a job to teach as an economic teacher in a private college, after a year of of saving some money, as a renouce economic person, he bought a taxi with the the aim of using it for transportation in the evening after his teaching job in the morning to create a second income source so as to meet up his plans of getting married to his fiance in a years time.

Mr. Festus was managing his life, combining his teaching job and his evening taxi driving as a second sources of income, fortuntely for him as planned, he got meet up his target and finally got married to the love of his life STELLA.

Festus loved Stella very much but they was a problem, the problem was that stella was from an average wealthy family compare to fesus, she didn't love festus as he did, she had this pride and mentality in her that marrying festus was a great favour on his side, and she always demanded beyond her husband's capability, despite that and because of the love he has for her, Mr. Festus always ensure he do his best to be up to the task.

Stella was a trader who manages a little super store, but because of her pride, stinginess and arrogance, she wasn't supporting her husband in anything and didn't allow her husband to know the way about of her business and income.

One day, Stella felt seriously sick and was suffering from apendix and she was admitted in a private hospital as directed by her, after festus had spent beyond N200,000 ($600) for the operations just to safe the life of his wife, he had no money with him anymore whereas due to the operation conducted on his wife, she had excessive lost of blood whichthe doctor requested that 2 pint of blood should be bought which cost roughly N50,000, so as to augment her blood quantity, but since he was a low income and has exhausted all the money he had, he had no where to get the money.

But to safe the life of his lovely wife, he considered the option of using his taxi as a collateral to borrow money so as to safe his wife's life, on preparing to go and use his car as a collateral in other to get the money he needed for his wife's treatment, his car key fell behind their bed in their room at home, and to find the car key, he must remove the foam from the bed, on removing the foam, he realises that they is something tied on a nylon inside the bed, he was afraid, but as a brave man, he summoned courage to open the nylon, on opening the nylon, he found out that they is N300,000($750) tied inside the nylon by his wife, Mr.festus was speechless on such an act of insincerity by his wife.

He quietly took N50,000 from it and settled alk the hospital bills and went ahead to buying a new bed and foam and burnt the old one outside their compound before his wife's arrival from the hospital,(he did this so as to convinced his wife that the money she hide inside the bed has been burned too).

When his wife arrived from the hospital, she met everywhere clean with a new bed and foam, she asked the husband what happened to the former bed that led to him buying a new bed, the husband told her that he discovered that the bed was filled with a blood sucking insect(parasite) called bed bugs, that he didn't want his wife to be a victim of the insect, that is why he had to burn everything off.

The wife Stella was bitterly in grieve for a long time and could not speak out loud to anyone because she think the N300,000 she hide inside the bed had been burned alongside with the bed.
