What better to do on a Saturday then to go on an adventure. Past Gold Hill.....

Back on the road, and finally arrived to meet this cool guy!

The town of Auburn California sprang up in 1848 at the beginning of the GOLD rush.

He was in the holiday spirit! A Santa hat for Mr. Chana!!

But thats not quite right, lets get this old school gold bug a REAL mans hat:

Later that evening, I saw that even the pizza stand referenced gold. No 10,000 BTC pizza in Auburn!

Visiting old timer gold miner Claude Chana was awesome. Spending the day in Auburn was great fun and completely worth the day trip.

I want to thank Claude and Goldmatters Jr. but most of all I want to thank Mrs. Goldmatters for always putting up with my crazy ideas. Honestly, without her none of this stuff would ever happen. She’s the most valuable thing in this world to me.
