The strange history of the "Los Chaguaramos" farm.

The road meant many steps of memories for Mr. Rafael, an old man of 70 years who lived alone in that house inherited by several generations, which was built by his great grandfather that emblematic place where his children grew up, lived his wife and his ancestors.

Rafael had the misfortune of living alone, since he was involved in strange situations with his family. It seemed that some bad luck had grown up around his loved ones, but these situations refused to affect him physically, but mentally and emotionally Rafael He was a very sad and lonely being.

During his youth he was blessed with three children and an exceptional wife named Marina who, regardless of how difficult the situation was, was always an example for everyone, with their effort and dedication for their loved ones and their home.

Jose Gregorio was the eldest son of Mr. Rafael, he was born when they were only 17 years old, Marina took care of him every day remembering all the advice of his mother and grandmother, while Rafael left to work in those things that are typical of a farm to support his family.

Jose Gregorio was a very curious and vivacious boy who loved to run and swim with his younger brothers and at 10 years of age his only obligation was to take care of his 2 little brothers.

One day after an intense month of rain he swam in the lake of the house, showing his brothers that he should not be afraid of anything, he broke his mother's rules, of swimming beyond the shore, when the rules existed. One reason, in the lake lived drool (small crocodiles), which were not on the shore but in the deep center of the lake.

Jose Gregorio swam boldly and even plunged into the center before starting to return to the shore, when he accidentally steps on a giant rock that moves and bites his 10-year-old little leg, immediately immerses himself with strength and speed and his brothers they cry in search of their mother, when she arrives at the scene it was only a lake stained with blood and turbid water and the pain of a father losing a son due to a misfortune product of the curiosity of a 10 year old infant.

Nieves was the second daughter of Mr. Rafael and Mrs. Marina when she was born her parents were 21 years old and the experience of her first son Jose Gregorio was happy to have a brother who at birth knew, who was a beautiful younger sister, to the which took care even in the nights since they shared the room.

Nieves loved cattle and horses almost since he started walking, since his father sometimes took him with him, in the mare of the house, a white and strong animal that was the main instrument of work of Mr. Rafael.

After the terrible experience of seeing her older brother drowning, her life was never the same, since being the older sister responsible, she was always assigned tasks more advanced at her age.

At the age of 14 Nieves decides to leave the housework with his mother and go to the field with his father since his true passion was cattle and horses, riding a horse for snow was like walking in the rough fields of his estate, even she felt more free about her mare than doing anything else.

One of the many days of work with his father, the rain starts in the middle of work, which they decide to return to, as it was soon dark they were going at full gallop, and the girl wanting to follow the father's step but demanding more strength of which he had shortly before arriving home, he lost control of the horse falling from it, while one of his boots was caught in the stirrup of the horse, which dragged her unchecked to get home, while kicking his head and signing the end of the life of Nieves.

Ruben the youngest of the house, was born when his parents were 26 years old, with two older brothers happy to see another member arrive to the family, during his early childhood he was a child overprotected since his parents were still recovering from the death of Jose Gregorio that happened when Ruben was only one year old, which was not something tragic for him, since he was too young to assimilate.

He was never allowed to leave home and his 11 after the unexpected death of his sister Nieves, he was not even allowed to accompany his father in the fields, he could only play in the patio near the house, where his mother could see him whenever he wanted.

As worthy of Rafael's son, the boy Ruben was very curious quality that would lead him to suffer from a terrible pain, one morning he was playing with a hornet's nest, throwing stones and making the wasps angry, but with many failed attempts since his protected breeding had made him a clumsy but persistent child, he threw and threw until he finally managed to knock down the hornet's nest, he ran back home, but he tripped over a root of the tree, which produced many painful and poisonous bites of many angry wasps.

His mother picked him up quickly to see what happened took him into the house and sent for the village healer, but it seemed it was too late, the child was crying of pain, was all swollen and had a lot of fever, which made that Marina will spend the worst night of her life, seeing her youngest son die in her arms.

It had been 20 years since the birth of their first child until the death of their third child, Marina never recovered from this and still thinks that everything had been a spell that Rafael's family and his family had, a thought that deepened over the years and I take her to leave him alone and find another man to be happy with.

It was learned that at 41 Marina was pregnant again and had a beautiful healthy boy named Alberto who at 29 years is the one who takes care of and takes care of Marina who is already 70 years old and miss Rafael because he was the man I love all his life, but he feels a terrible fear of returning to the hacienda where he lost his children when he was young.

Although Alberto was young, he had a lot of livestock, inherited from his father Ruperto, Marina's second husband who had died a natural causes a few years ago, this work that allowed him to take care of his mother and find a wife with whom to create a family, although his Mother did not want her precious son Alberto to ever separate from her and only let him leave the house to tend to the cows.
