Meet O.S.A.S (3)

I would see her walk down the street, sometimes I wait at the side to give her a cursory glance when she walks past. She does this like a routine, I wonder where her walk ends, so I followed her one evening and found out that her walk ends where mine started- The church.

Part 2

George

Every morning as he heads out of his house noticed a spring in his step, a wider smile on his face and a longing in his heart. He thanked God according to His word,

Psalm 68:19 (KJV) Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

He was even happier today. It was another Tuesday, another time to fellowship with the brethren, so much joy in his heart! After all, one should be happy when it's time to go to the house of The Lord.

"Ahhha! Stop deceiving yourself!" George told himself, "you know there's more to your happiness this morning." He smiled to himself knowing he'd see her later today.

Traffic was serious on his way from the office to church, he was so worried he wouldn't get there in time but fortunately, he arrived just as the opening prayer was being said. He mouthed a word of thanks to as he expectantly walked to his favourite side of the church to take a seat and savour the word.

The discussion was really engaging it was about the work of grace in the daily lives of Christians.

Romans 3:20 (KJV) Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

That was when he remembered he hadn't seen her that evening. He quickly skimmed the congregants but saw no one looking at her, "could be traffic delaying her, she said she'd come" he thought for a moment before he got lost in the bible discussion once again.

The service closed but he didn't see her. "Where could she be?" He wondered and decided to man the main door so he could see everyone coming out of the church. This he did till the last of the congregants and the pastorate left the church.

Dejected, he began his walk home but he felt he the stirring in his spirit to pray, not for himself, but for her. Without hesitation, he began to intercede for her....

For men are supposed to pray and not to faint...when was the last time you prayed for your neighbour?
