[Story of My Life #15] About A Process of Editing Videos // Tentang Sebuah Proses Mengedit Video

I admit that I am not gifted to be a video editor or produce a good video. The equipment for taking the scene that I have is just an old-fashioned smartphone. But these things never stopped me from learning to produce a video.

Armed with Adobe Premiere Pro with a laptop that performs poorly, (this makes editing performance very long time) I learned to edit simple videos. All the processes I learned through tutorials on Youtube.

 

The following picture shows the rendering process, I save the results of video editing about my trip in a restaurant. For this reason, I will use this video to complete the restaurant review I wrote.

Very simple video. I did not enter audio from my own voice, because the context I needed was just the atmosphere around the place. For other content contexts, I might edit again by adding audio from my voice.

It appears that the time needed to save this video is about half an hour, even though the video only takes about one minute.

From the process of editing videos, teach someone about the meaning of a struggle that takes time. Nothing can be instant. When instant, the results are mediocre, and unsatisfactory.

Everything we do, even if it looks like it takes a long time, will definitely give us satisfaction with a work, and it is a gift for ourselves that produces something. We need to prove to ourselves that we have the right to do things that we like with a note that this is not a bad thing.

BAHASA: Tentang Sebuah Proses Mengedit Video

Saya akui saya memang tidak berbakat menjadi video editor ataupu menghasilkan sebuah video yang bagus. Peralatan untuk mengambil scene yang saya miliki pun hanya sekadar smartphone model lama. Tetapi hal-hal tersebut tidak pernah menghentikan langkah saya untuk belajar menghasilkan sebuah video.

Berbekal Adobe Premiere Pro dengan laptop yang berkinerja seadanya, (hal ini membuat kinerja mengedit menjadi sangat lama) saya belajar mengedit video sederhana. Semua proses saya pelajari melalui tutorial di Youtube.

 

Pada gambar berikut ini terlihat proses rendering, saya menyimpan hasil editing video tentang perjalanan saya di sebuah restoran. Rencanya, video ini akan saya gunakan untuk melengkapi review restoran yang saya tulis.

 

Video yang sangat sederhana sekali. Saya tidak memasukkan audio dari suara saya sendiri, karena konteks yang saya butuhkan hanyalah suasana sekitar. Untuk konteks konten lainnya, mungkin saya mengedit lagi dengan menambahkan audio dari suara saya.

Terlihat waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyimpan video ini sekitar setengah jam, meski video hanya berdurasi sekitar satu menit.

 

>Dari proses mengedit hingga menyimpan video, mengajari seseorang tentang arti sebuah sebuah perjuangan yang butuh perjuangan. Tidak ada yang bisa instan. Bila instan, hasilnya pas-pasan, dan tidak jarang kurang memuaskan.

Segala sesuatu yang kita lakukan meski terlihat membutuhkan waktu lama, pasti akan memberikan kita kepuasan terhadap sebuah karya, dan hal itu sebagai hadiah untuk diri kita sendiri yang menghasilkan sesuatu. Kita butuh membuktikan pada diri sendiri bahwa kita berhak melakukan hal-hal yang kita sukai dengan catatan hal tersebut bukanlah sebuah keburukan.
