Thuja 🎋

Thuja is a genus of coniferous trees in the Cupressaceae family which are five species in the genus, two native to North America and three native to eastern Asia. But the genus is
monophyletic & sister to Thujopsis. Members are commonly known as arborvitaes, thujas or cedars.
The leaves & leaf oil are used for respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis, bacterial skin infections & cold sores.
It is also used for painful conditions which includes osteoarthritis & a nerve disorder that affects the face called trigeminal neuralgia.
