ICO (Initial Coin Offering) has been one of the main ways used by Cryptocurrency companies to raise funds for their projects. ICOs have become an easy means of scamming these days as many companies disappear or do not deliver their promises after raising funds. It is for this reason that we now have the SEC (Security and Exchange Commission) in place to regulate ICOs.

A new strategy to raised funds has now been put in place. This strategy known as Security Token Offering (STO) will allow investors to purchase digital currencies as public offerings backed by the company’s assets, profit or revenue.

These STOs will prove to customers and authorities that the issuing company is transparent in its fundraising activities.
