I live in Australia too (Sydney), and we had like 10 of those Rainbow Lorikeets in the 2nd pic squawking around us so much at lunch the other day, we couldn't here ourselves think. Who needs Currumbin? :P
Yeah I know right, when I was young there was a Mcdonalds at Caloundra that had these massive gum trees and in spring and summer at dusk the rainbow lorikeets would swarm hundreds of them the sounds echoed through the small city.
Fun/not fun lol
Beautiful but soooo loud, not to mention a dangerous place to park your car lotsa poop.
